Dacia is an affordable car for normal people and constructed to face harsh winters and bad roads. The climate in Romania isn´t much different from the one in Norway. So yes , if you have good tiers you can pretty much handle such bad mountainous roads. Still it doesn´t mean that the car is better then a Q7 or a BMW x5 , but it can do the same stuff and it is way , way cheaper. What is the point in paying 35000 Euros for a car that you only use in the winter if you can pay 11000?

Dacia/Renaul have a strange politics about selling cars. In Romania, where they produce this car, it's a version for us, poorer quality, for export quality is better(including car body). I talked witn an engineer from Mioveni(city where Dacia have factory) and he spoke about that North Edition it's a best version of Duster. Why? It's politics. If we have 2 Duster, yours is better than mine, and parts of your Duster will be damaged harder.

Boris Staudt In Europe are only the modern low consumption engines available, like 1.2L TCE125 and 1.5L DCi ...impossible to sale for ex. in France or Germany the 2 litre 140hp in 4x4, and automatic gear (only in 2x4) because the high CO² tax...For example , in France the CO² tax for the Lada Niva is 8000€ !!!
It is Renault engine inside 1,5 cdi so it is only for 100 000km after that distance engine is death like in my renault megane and my has 105ps here is 110 and 4x4 good luck. Repeiring costs are nearly the same like car price . Never cdi renault.
I have seen Logan taxies with over 250k-300k km with perfect working engines (no repairs done to them) But you do have to care for them, on time oil change, good quality diesel fuel (!!!) and so on, like any other engine.
alexandru vrabie older 1.5DCi had reliabilty problems this is true (injection pump, rod bearings,etc...) , but after 2007 they was solved. Now are the 1.5DCi's in the top best available diesel engines , is use from Mercedes Benz on they class A and B...
Dawid Tram Taxi drivers both here in Serbia and in Bosnia make 1.000.000 km with Dacia`s without any problems, both on petrol 1.4 75 hp and 1.6 90 hp engines, and on 1,d dci with 70 and 90hp. Undesctructible. And zou should see our roads and petrol quality

And then later the shitty Dacia comes up on the same place and passes the belt wagon with driver (probably yourself) commenting: "I did it where Magnus didn't" (4min54s) and "I beat the belt wagon on a winter road" (5min8s). Hence I wrote and I can repeat that this is a complete bullshit. And if you only wanted to show that Dacia can come up the same hill, then subtitles (or translation) should be fixed and the word "versus" in the video name should be removed as well.
