The transmission failed (1st gear) luckily no other damage it was making an awful sound after the last race so we pulled the engine and opened her up to see what the issue was.
Ta i have never seen this either in all my years with the yfz’s not sure how it happened. It was a used transmission we used for this rebuild so maybe it had an issue.

Would you say that a piece of metal got in between? If so that means something else was broken. Or did that gear miss its groove? Mysteries of life.

Never broke a tooth off like that even on Hunter Hart machines Expect to see that on the Hondas
