As much as the Raptors benefited from trading him, is it crazy for me to say that the Raptors did him a favour as well. I donât see him growing to be the player he is, if he stays in Toronto. I donât see him ever getting the recognition he deserves unless he left. I love to see it, because I always thought he was underrated. As a raptor fan, people would say Iâm biased, but the fact this man is the MVP conversation only validates it.
The MVP conversation (though deserved) doesn't matter because he's never won an NBA championship. You don't get remembered if you don't win it all. Just look at Karl Malone. He won the MVP twice but most people don't even know this because he got overshadowed by Michael Jordan. He even got overshadowed by Tim Duncan as the best power forward of all-time. Got to win it all to matter.

I love this guys storyâs he grew up and Compton and made it out. I grew up in southern Cali in a Mexican American hood ,we couldnât even go to the park to hoop without hearing shootings back in the 90s it was a was zone. I got caught up in the streets did a little time and finally got my head outta my ass and started my own Rv transport business.

Zach does deserve more credit and is the mvp of our team. Iâm sick of all these fans who claim Zach is overrated when they didnât even watch him while the bulls were bad. Dude hit a game winner vs the hornets in â19 and a game winner in Portland last year and has hit several others in a bulls jersey. A lot of fans put the losing seasons on him when itâs a team sport. Watching him play defense this year versus last year is night and day and itâs the reason heâs the mvp of our team. With that said, I think Joel should win the mvp considering heâs willing the sixers to the playoffs without a major part of their core in Simmons.

Raptors fan since the first day. DEEBO&KLO are both my favourite Raptors and Backcourt Bros of all time. I'm happy we won a championship. We got the Machine/Monster the best 2 way player in Kawhi and one of the best snipers in Danny Green (was a throw in). The worst we traded Deebo. The best in terms of two perennial superstars. The most EQUAL EPIC trade in Raptors of all time. Equal in terms of only Kawhi coming to us is acceptable... and we got him. I've always dreamed of having Kawhi as a Raptor... not trading Deebo though. You know Deebo is this awesome in hoops. And with the trade Deebo brought us a championship. Trading Deebo feels like the Raptors sold the team's soul. Still I would never trade Deebo and up to this day I'm still frustrated we traded Toronto's very own Deebo.
