You cant call it failure if a team is injured. In 2020, the clippers completely failed. They were healthy and blew a 3-1 lead. In 2021, they got to the conference finals without Kawhi and PG had 39-16 on the road in Utah. 2022, Kawhi is out from ACL and they lose the play-in. 2023, PG is out for the playoffs and Kawhi goes out after 1 game.
Nice taking out the fact that the clippers played every game throughout that playoff run without a rest period. They literally played as far as they can without Kwahi. Paul George and Reggie Jackson stepped up. The teams they would face on the next round had at least a week break. The body only wears and tears faster at their age and recovery from it even slower.
