This is definitely going around. I've seen several CZcamsrs lose their channels in this exact way. A scammer poses as a sponsorship, and interacting with the email downloads a Trojan and then you're just done.
All I can think of to counter it is to simply not accept email contracts and insist the sponsor mail it to you or something.
I wonder what document would be safe that has no password requirement?
@@SidsTips cause I just heard that bit in this video... google docs does *not* require you to manually log in to view things, only to interact with it or create a local copy. If the person sending the info says you manually need to log in, run
edit: also a bit of constructive criticism: might wanna add a lowpass filter to the microphone audio track in your video editor, because the voice is *very* drone-y and boomy sounding on headphones (basically sounds like someone's talking to you through PC speakers but someone turned to subwoofer up to 11 out of 10)

Welp, at this point I just don't have any sympathy for youtubers getting scammed like this any more. After all of the scummy ads from the likes of "better health" and raid shadow legends and temu and SO many others being dumped on us just for an easy buck? Top it all off this has been a scam for years. All I see is greed and karma.
The bigger question is why does this channel have 30k subscribers and vids with less than 500 views?

I am going to take some coaching to improve on my channel. I have had other say the same thing. I am sure there are several things I can improve on.

I'd use a colon instead of a dot: "Scam Alert: (etc.)"
Clicking on this video, I too thought that a channel with the name "Scam Alert" had been taken down.
