I graduated from St. Edmund's College with Hons. in Physics in 1979. Now at the age of my 61 yrs. it reminds me of my many sweet memories the days I spent in St. Edmund's.

Great video! Feeling nostalgic. Graduated from this college in the year 1986. Brother Shannon was our principal. Most of the buildings shown in this video were not there during those days. Still I can recognize my college.

Anybody from the 1985-86 batch? 4:00.... Old Principal Bro. Shannon (RIP)'s office...... 4:46: The basketball court... I have played one game in '85 at the annual college games without knowing the rules of the game just because someone in authority saw me dribbling around with two friends at the B.T. Hostel basketball court and judged be good enough...haha.... I played badly. Nice to see the grounds of St. Edmund's College again after all these years. I have a great time with the superintendent of B.T Hostel, Dr. B Dutta Ray and his son Viswanathan.... bless them all. :)
Being graduated from St.Edmiund's college made me proud.I was fortunate to be part of the platinnium jubilee celebration during my graduation.Seeing the college campus make me remind of my college's life.even through the building structures are different.

@Bhaboklang Lyngdoh Marshilong I graduated in B A Geography in 2013...so the fee are little higher than other subjects, because of practical and labs.
So I paid 1900 Rupees quarterly ie. 1900× 4. And that time exams were held yearly....I think it has changed to semester. I hope this will help you.

It's for all Indian students irrespective of any caste, community or religion. There is a quota of few non-resident Indian students too.

@@jisannuso1959 I am curious as well. As it's Alumna, from a different state I have seen nothing but fierce loyalty and brotherhood. We also had a classmate who is an Irish belle. She never felt left out, however if you are a total imbecile whether you are local or non local, you'll be treated the same way. Usually, the students are refined and well-mannered. Discipline and respect for eachother is a common thing, afterall it's St. Edmunds, not any Tom, Dick and Harry can come waltzing in.
If you are talking about local preference partiality, you'd be pleasantly surprised that if your marks don't hit the required percentage you can't get in, that's that, it doesn't matter who and what your background is.

This college is one of the best colleges in North East India and its known for equality to all irrespective of any differences whatsoever. Just my humble request to refrain using a few words, which might show unpleasantness towards anyone.. I personally have so much respect and love for this college..
