- Yep here is is the worst fight in the entire series. I'm not going to type an essay about this guy because you've heard it all before. Basically this is a luck based fight with Terra especially at level 1. If you get bad luck then you're screwed in a lot of situations. I will never fight this guy as Terra again.

Gonna be honest here, level 1 Terra Mysterious Figure doesn't seem too much different to level 100 Terra Mysterious Figure.
Level 1 Terra cannot destroy MF clones which makes Level 1 more harder because Once More and Second Chance don't work properly in BBS

Day by day, I have more reasons not to do a level 1 run of this game.
@@gamermanx3096 To be fair outside of that fight LV1 run are actually easier than normal run (hence why speedrunner mainly focus on the Critical LV1 category), due to how No EXP boost your damage and how easy it is to break this game with Once More, Second Chance and Leaf Bracer with 2/3 Cures and Renewing Guard all accessible very early. This fight is the big exception due to the fucking Clones.

I LITERALLY JUST BEAT TERRANORT AFTER 3 LITERAL DAYS OF ATTEMPTS
I BEAT HIM ON CRIT ON MOBILE IN ONLY 20 MINUTES WITHOUT EXP ZERO
because there is a damage cap on ps4 versions and pc. This boss have been nerfed, Play on the original psp eur version, you can't escape from the whip move, and a lvl1 battle is about 2 hours long, because your damage are so low Nobody did this challenge on youtube.
When even WillJV2 can’t beat a boss without luck and a deck full of Curagas, you know you’ve done a poor job designing your boss.
This is how Terra trained to fight Sora 10 years later.

Well each one of the wayfinder trio did turn it to be a boss in some way shape or form, Lingering Will, Armored Ventus Nightmare and Phantom Aqua
Lorde Voldemort terranort, xemnas, ansem, anti aqua and ventus vanitas
And that’s just part of why this boss fight sucks.
And let's also renove revenge values in favor of making staggering completely random! And make 90% of all strategies (including everything that has worked in past games) completely useless!
If only Terra could use his lingering will movesets from 2 xD

All my grinding for the flashiest commands in this damn game was all for nothing, If I couldn't use them on any of the secret bosses, dammit osaka wth
Good thing this is only for BSS and DDD. KH3 has much better design thankfully.

Frankly, all the game commands need to be more viable is making the character invincible while in command animation, and boosting damages. Of course, it would result in abuse of longest animations but we already do that with the dodges and shootlock instead, so no point in not doing so.
Also, you can cheese Vanitas remnants with Whildwind, one of Strongest and flashiest Ventus command
I'm baffled with how much luck is required in this fight. Out of my 30 attempts so far, I've only seen one X-slash move, but he will sometimes use Doom 3-4 times back to back. It's like MF knows what his punishable moves are, so he refuses to use them on me...I'm going insane...
MAAAAAANNNN he just doesnt know mercy its just doom doom doom.. And the funny thing is I seen thay move a total of 1 time while using aqua and ven COMBINED yet when i use terra its lik hes been givin a full description of how bad his dodge is
From what I heard, he spams Doom if you have more than 4 Cure commands and if you have Ice Slide equipped in slots 1-4 in your Action Commands.
You wanna make it so he rarely uses Doom and keeps using that significantly easier to dodge cross slash? Unequip Ice Slide and Sonic Impact, if you have them, and make sure there are no more than 4 Cure commands in your deck.
Doom is such a dumb mechanic I genuinely don't understand why they felt the need to implement it how they did. Like okay, yea, the whole fight is a mess, but a move that is near unreactable that can be spammed in succession and eventually just instantly kills you? It really does put the BS in BBS. If they just kept it an unreactable move with a consistently short escape timer at least that'd be somewhat fair. Did they really think this fight wasn't hard enough as is??
that was a weird mechanic how he will use doom, it happened to me too, so i tried that fight again but without any cure boost, my command deck was like the video, but this time he spams more the X attack instead of doom

Worst boss? Maybe, but at least he doesn't have an clock based doom counter, and element immunity like "He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named" from KH1!

The tune for the battle is “Dark Impetus”, the tune for Young Xehanort on Dream Drop Distance is “L’Impeto Oscuro” which means the same thing.
He holds the key blades in the same stance as Young Xehanort from 3D
The use of time travelling is also revealed in 3D before the Young Xehanort boss battle.
Those are the things that suggest it is Young Xehanort but people had to wait for 3D to be released as there is nothing in the story up to the point of BBS being completed
I had a bug today on Xbox. Terra lv1 MF had clones out and i almost had him, with luck i was able to block and counter, filling up my rhythm master finisher. I used it, i killed mf but he just vanished. Terra even stopped having the fight stance as if there is nothing but the musoc continued and i couldnt get into the menu neither did the fight end in 1 hour of waiting....

he's still the worst by far. KH3 superbosses are actually well designed, for the most part.

MF is unfair at all levels, yozora is also the only real difficulty boss in KH3 Remind, for normal KH3 the only superboss is Dark Inferno, and boi what an easy fight, just block and counter at right moments and you can combo him... now MF? good luck with his stupid AI and RNG, throwing tornados that can steal your commands, going invisible, dividing himself into 4 MFs, you can't even combo this guy with Terra, it's just not fun.
Surge is like limit form, both of which I used to obliterate the bosses in both kh2fm and here while on critical mode lmao
And in this version, the laser whip can be evaded. In PSP western edition, it was impossible. I still wonder how I was able to defeat this atrocity.

Um? Hah? That's literally YMXs Keyblade you get at the end of the fight. And I'm not even entirely aware MoM is capable of time travel, especially because we've never seen him at the LOD, which would be one of the requirements.

Thats unfair... In my case MF doesnt stop spamming doom atrack (even since the beginning) its really maddening. I've tried to disable ice slide or many others commands but he still using those damn attacks. I think it is taking me at least 80 attemps... This is the last trophy for me

How do you synthesize thunder surge
Thundara + fire dash, freeze raid, stun edge, or confusion strike. Way too easy for such a broken command

How does having no items change his AI? 'Cause I know that using D-Links cause him to go invisible like it's Phase 2 already, and that Shotlocks force him to pull up his Healing Shield as well as Lazer Orbs.

2. Well did you know that having more than 4 Cure commands and/or having Ice Slide in slots 1 - 4 of your action commands cause him to Doom spam in the first phase?

Yeah lol MF ai is also based on if you have the elemental dodges. Curious to see if modders and determiners can see why this to occurs now that KH is on PC.

As Terra? Practically impossible. Moves like Doom, the Projectile Megaflare attack, and his Sonic Blade like attacks are very difficult to react and dodge. All this and I didn't even mention his Laser Orbs. His laser Orbs is literally impossible to avoid unless you use your I-frame skills and Blocks like a God. And even so, you got the second phase where he will most likely do impossible setups like the Laser Orbs into Whirlwind or Doom.
Tldr: You need a extremely fuck ton of luck to get a setup where MF doesn't fuck you over. No hit as Aqua and Ven is way more doable.
@@AgentAaron101 Is it possible to use the Zack D-Link Auto Block to block his Lazer Orbs? Actually, nevermind; he'll just go invisible like it's Phase 2 already. Maybe you could back up into a corner to block some of them.
When you see even the most skilled KH players use Thunder Surge you know this boss is bs

@@photonalchemist6574 still he did good. but i think the fight on level 1 with surges is harder than the fight on a high level without surges... people say his moveset even becomes harder on lvl 1

This fight is almost pure shit. It's very inconsistent in when it can actually be hit, it can very easily break your combos and stunlock you with almost no way of knowing ahead of time, and it follows the admittedly cool tradition of Kingdom Hearts giving a little sneak peak of the next game with Young Xehanort for Dream Drop Distance in this case. Because that's what Kingdom Hearts needed: time travel. The only good part is the epic music, which is kind of expected at this point.

How come you dont die when he hits you and you have no life left?
His combo attack I immediately puts you on 1 health. Even if the attack is ongoing you stay at 1 health. But if he hits you again your dead!
Theres also an item in brith by sleep called once more and second chance, moves that are supposed to one shot you don't
Actually these are abilities and you get them by fusing proper commands and using crystal items (there are multiple combinations that work, but the one that always comes into my mind first is getting second chance with firega+firega+pulsing crystal)
how you mfs play Kingdom Hearts without second chance, once more and leaf bracer is beyond me
Not to brag but, I just beat this piece of shit on the original psp english version with Parachute pants over here, after a while I started questioning if a keyblade was worth all of this and part of me was like; *_Y E S_* , and then the other part of me was also like; show that piece of bullshit what's *_G O O D_* , if the boss design in this game was decent, using your cool flashy commands would actually feel satisfying
I wouldn't say it's worth it cause you can get royal radiance and no heart is way easier than mf

@@michaelchronicles9780 Console has no bearing on the design of these bosses, that’s a lazy excuse. Riku and Roxas in Re: coded were designed with proper staggering and revenge value on a NINTENDO DS

So ontop of every fucking hit he does sending you to 1 hp he can scatter your commands auto and auto kill you and lock you in a combo…,
