This man’s work ethic is next level. Awesome work bro
Thanks man!!
Your level of persistence towards perfection and overall fab skills are unparalleled … 🤙🏼
The truck is fighting you because it doesn’t want to be a Chevy. 😂
😂😂😂 shots fired!!!😅😅
😂😂😂😂
It wants TD sounds.
It sucks that you had to redo all those parts but it is great that you show that everyone makes mistakes. Your fab work is so great to watch, your an inspiration to folks that like to do everything themselves !
Coming along. Hat's off to your fab skills. More importantly your patience and taking the time to check and double check everything. Then stick with it after as you stated, made and re-made more than once. It's getting there and visualizing the finished job is looking good. 👌
Thank you! It’s definitely frustrating redoing everything but I think it’s worth it in the end!
Your patience and stubborn determination is inspiring. It helps those younger builders see there is a bigger picture.
Amazing craftsmanship and you make it look so easy. I enjoy looking at you work.
You are doing a great job and once you get all the bugs worked out, you will be very proud of your accomplishments. It makes a person very aware of the engineering that goes into manufacturing a vehicle. You will gain a ton of experience working on your project. Can't wait to see it finished.
Thank god for the CAD! Cardboard Assisted Design!
Another great EP Austin 👍🏼 congratulations on ur upcoming wedding 💒
Love all the hard work
Awesome content
Great build series
This is really coming together, great perseverance
Gunna be a smooth ride running pvc pipe arms 😂😂😂 love ya work!
Hey man that's badass, I've got a 77 fj45 pick up I did a similar build on but I've got compound turbo p-pump 3.9L Cummins 4bta in mine. I thought about a LS at first but I'm a Cummins guy at heart. Right now my set up gets me 26mpg with 400hp and 800tq . It's not much but it's plenty for me especially with finding a sweet spot I can get great gas mileage and decent power. I also fabbed a 100gallon L shaped transfer tank into my main fuel tank, I also welded baffles into it so I can go crawling. If that's something your interested in I'm sure I can send you a C.A.D blueprint of it
Good job Austin
I like your project
Austin, Regarding the rear 4 link, with such a short wheel base and short rear drive shaft, you cannot realize the full capacity of a 4 link setup. I opted to go with FJ60 rear springs and 12" shocks for this reason. Just food for thought on your build.
It's now a "Toy" 😆 you've removed all the "ota"! Looking beastly good though👍🏽
You live and learn. Good job!
You are the best, don’t stop to entertain us with your project. You are my favorite CZcamsr.
Thank you!!
Nice work Austin.
Enjoy watching you solve the problems as they come up.
i am glad you figured it out. it's refreshing to see you getting issues figured out.
You are a top notch fabricator!
Great video Austin! Your work is impeccable. Congrats on this build thus far.
Awesome job man. Lookin killer!
Thanks!
That plasma cutter has really come in handy for your great builds🇦🇺
Man that table is a game changer!!
Keep pushing mate, I’ve redone nearly everything on my solid axle swap at least twice, some 3 or 4 times, unfortunately it’s just how it goes 🤷🏼♂️, keen to see it done
Austi you've done a lot of impressive work! keep up the great content !
Hey thank you!!
Well done!!
This needs to be at sema once it’s finished
Cant wait for the body work and paint, hope is OD green would look dope. Keep up the good work
Sky Offroad Design offers a flat and a 3/4 inch less than stock drop cromoly Pitman arm with a various selection of tapers for the Toyota IFS box.
Boy you make me feel intense lol 😂 but then you make everything better when things work in place. It’s like watching a movie 🎥.😂 You do great work Austin. 😊
Thank you!!
Looks like you are doing the hard part first and hopefully smooth sailing from here 🎉
That’s what I am hoping for!!
You have a lot of patience with this build! Maybe your next shop toy needs to be a 3D scanner so that you can move some of those parts like the frame and knuckles and axles from the Cardboard Aided Design CAD to the Computer Aided Design CAD. Then you could figure out angles and clearances with fewer painstakingly made steel parts in the rubbish bin - and spend less time editing a lot of four letter words out of the video 🙂
Should have been a 2j with a big snail on it set up for big torque
Damn you are persistent! I know I'd have said "good enough" waaay earlier haha! Awesome work
Awesome job 💯👌👍
Awesome work dude 🤘😎
Hey, Congratulation on the upcoming wedding!
Thank you!!
Great job bud!!
There ain’t no way Austin won’t over think it !!!
That’s the whole Reason I watch !!!!
If you could tell me where to order up some of that patience, I’d love to have some.
You’re a clever person
Gambatte kudasai luv ur pro
Sweet!
Top level 👍
Maybe you should build a new chassis at the beginning...
Why don't you switch the link from the pitman arm to the front knuckle mount and the other link into the inside mount.
where do you get your cardboard for making templates before cad?
Hard part is done
Once you're done recreating all the parts, three or four times, it'll be perfect! It's all problem solving from here. I just hope you didn't jinx yourself by saying that the rear is going to be easier!
About 40 hours of work for a 20 minute video? Hardcore
Yeah probably more than 40! It’s a lot of work!!
@@austinniemela This is all supremely above my knowledge base for suspension geometry. But It seems you know what you're doing. Thanks for the quality content
Don't throw it away. It could work on your next build. Old guy talking here. Lol.
🔥💯👌🏽
Rack and piñon steering❓
😂😂😂😂😂way more content for us 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The rear is going to be too easy so why not add rear steer
Dude ,, that's a lot of redo welding 🥽
seems fustrating that you have to redo it a bunch of times but it will be worth it in the end
That’s what I am thinking!!
👏🏻👏🏻 🇧🇷
Just don’t overthink it.this will be for you not for sema, national rock crawling or climbing Mt. Rushmore.it’s for you.just saying 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Dang man. Mount that camera to a chicken.
Türkce altyazı yok
Man how many times do you swear off camera 😅
Too many 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
🤯🤣😵💫🤔🫣🤣🫡👍
