Every so often I find myself coming back to this song, it's a lifelong favourite.
I always thought the videography of this video was so gorgeous and now that I've thought about the band and googled their history, it makes so much sense that they're Icelandic! Iceland is truly a breath taking country.
This song was written by chris and tony griffiths of the real people in memory of their friend paul who died far too young....missed by all. Lovey version!
The lyrics are a masterprice. They are great and their tears makes me feel sad. Really beautiful song.

I just lost a really good friend who also died too young, he was 15 years old and really smart though a lot of my friends are helping me and we're all kind of keeping each other up and going. I almost didn't meet him but even if I could go back and change so that I never met him I wouldn't because the time I did spend with him and our other friends was really great. This song is something I can kind relate to.

@immehjohns can`t help you there mate...I do not have or know anyone who has a recording of it. I`ve heard them play it live years back...was fantastic. The original of closer by the real people is on youtube now...I`m sure you will enjoy it ;-)
