Siobhan McKenna, an occupational therapist at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, discusses the Bowel Management Program within the scope of Occupational Therapy. Including the task demands that are worked on within therapy as well as various positions that one might be in to complete the bowel program. She also discusses various equipment that one might need in order to decrease the amount of assistance required from a caregiver while also maximizing independence for your loved one.
