My family has all Hondas now. My dad had a 2008 Honda Pilot that lasted quite well until he bought a 2019 Honda Pilot. The 2008 Pilot is now safely in my uncle's care and has take him and his wife from PA to GA multiple times. It's still going. I started with a 2016 Honda Pilot that was a lease and I loved it so much when my lease was almost up I upgraded again to a 2017 Pilot. I went down to FL with that Pilot and ended up with a 2019 Pilot that I now own. I haven't had any issues with my car nor has my dad had any with his. Mitsubishi, Subaru, and Nissan/Infiniti are huge users of CVT. I don't think Subaru and Mitsubishi have problems like Nissan/Infiniti, though. Never used for towing but had cam phasers go bad multiple times (always took multiple weeks to get replacement parts) and had a high pressure fuel pump that was missing a bolt and after 15k miles the second bolt failed. Ford service was a bright spot but I'd rather not have to get if fixed as often. I'd stick with a Suburban, Yukon XL, or Sequoia if you want something reliable and something that will hold its resale value. Expedition has more passenger room but its not worth all the hassle.

@@AIDAHAR210 It would be great to have the option, wouldn't it?! But nobody buys manual transmissions anymore. Even Genesis, the only conpany to offer a stick on the small lux/compact cars is getting rid of theirs this summer. Truth of our times I guess.

Yes they're reliable, and things work like they're supposed to, but they don't really make "good" cars, they make a generalized car for lots of people, and for those who have no passion for driving. The crv is not for people who like to drive. It's for the very very old and lame.

I thought you did your own reviews?? Not just read out others opinions. I've always been suspect of Consumer Reports. Always remember back in the day when they rated the Toyota Matrix highly but the Pontiac Vibe as poor. Same exact vehicle with different trim built in the same factory.

I'm confused about the Armada vs Sequoia. I test drove both and the Seqouia was worse in almost every possible way. Interior quality, refinement, ride, engine power, infotainment....every way. How is the Sequoia an "alternative"? Plus if you listen closely to what they say about the pluses of the Seqouia, they turn right around and say those are the reasons to avoid lol.

I would buy the new Telluride but my 2011 optima has 150k miles and is still running strong. Was debating on gifting it to my sister then buying a base model Telluride and lifting it with some large off road tires with mabey some roof lights.
