      I bought it after watching this and I wear my Rolex submariner on special occasions but this is my everyday watch and I like the band and clasp better than my Sub 👍🏼

    It’s not made in Japan... you can tell by the dial. But nevertheless, there isn’t really a difference between JDM and non-JDM ones

    • @LEMON3705
      @LEMON3705 Před 11 měsíci

      There is. Check the day of week, JDM spec has English and Kanji.

      Do your research, it is made in Japan buddy.

      It’s made in Japan. But because it’s going to a market outside USA it’s not required to say the country of origin on the dial.

    Yes, I would buy this Seiko. I love the SKX but I don't want to mod it myself. If you mod it you're not going to be certified to 200m. That's just the way it is. So this fits the niche perfectly imo.

    I'm sure it's been pointed out already but those watches are NOT made in Japan. Movement is made in Malaysia and it's cased in China. I still want one but I wish it was quartz instead of mechanical as to service it will cost more than the watch itself cost.

    got the chronograph special edition of this watch today with the pepsi bezel to fill the spot til i can afford a rolex.. and i must say its quite a nice substitute especially for under 1000$

    The watch is made in Malaysia with parts sourced from China. The only Japanese thing in this watch is the design of the movement.

    Nice video.This is not a JDM model or it would have made in Japan on the dial.Also JDM and North American models don't have the same lume one is green and the other is blue.

    It is good for 6" wrist?

    • @jet_blast1622
      @jet_blast1622 Před 2 lety

      I wear a SRPD73K2 on my 6.25" wrist, does not look too big at all whatsoever. The K1 strap may add some bulk to lug to lug distance so to speak. My k2 rubber strap works quite well for a smaller wrist. I have ordered this exact watch featured in this video. I'll see how I like the K1 strap, might just swap it for a NATO or rubber if I don't like the look on my wrist.
