    The mind of Alan Turing
    who cracked this machine by building his own computer to decode this ,

    But such a Sad end to such a Great man who remained unrecognised for decades..
    All while the Americans had one and kept quiet refusing to share throughout the war,

    This is a pretty cool little video, though I would argue that it is the encryption method itself that is complicated not the actual machine itself.

    Soooo... what kind of message was being encrypted? I can't believe how hard it is to find this info. Is this a radio message, an electronic message like a telegram, or teletype, or does this spit out a piece of paper for a messenger pigeon or what?

    • @vksasdgaming9472
      @vksasdgaming9472 Před 7 měsíci

      Any kind of message could be encrypted and decrypted with Enigma. After encryption it could be sent with radio or telegram. Enigma only does the encryption and decryption of message.
