thanks Sidewalk Prophets! About 2 weeks ago I tried to commit suicide. I have a lot of health problems and I struggle with mental illness as well. It got to be too much for me. I met someone on the psych ward who told me about your band. It gives me hope now. I realize now that my problems are nothing compared to what Jesus went through. This song gives me hope on finding what He has planned for me. THANKS!!!!

I attempted to take my life several times over the years. Never could figure out why nothing worked. My mother was an addict, any abuse you can name I suffered. Even as a child I knew God was real but I was angry because I PRAYED and He never came for me. Well I know now that He did. He was always with me. It's not that He allowed my suffering but He knew what I needed to endure so that I could eventually help someone else. People suffer at the hands of people not God. I know God is sad for us but we have free will to choose how we live. I encourage you to know that God loved us so much He sent us Jesus. Jesus loved us so much He laid down His life.

Yes, talk! The Church exists so that His Word is a living word, which reaches out through people here on earth. We strengthen ourselves and one another by sharing our burdens. Even if all you can say to someone else is, "I'm having trouble. Can you please pray for me?" you are opening up more avenues for God's grace to reach you. Remember: you are not walking alone, and you don't need to act like you are.

When we love deeply, it takes much longer to heal, so please don't let society try and take your journey of healing away from you ... the expectation is to get over it, but that's mostly a society "thing". Most people don't express emotions well and so they want us to work through our emotion quickly so they don't have to feel for us. In truth, they say that it takes many years to truly mourn the loss of a loved one, so don't be afraid to take as long as YOU need to heal!

I really like this song. Finding God's will is not hard. Just praise and worship Him and stay in His word. He will guide you by the Holy Spirit. I have been disabled since I was 37 - I was an RN and now I am 61. I have times that I really wonder what God's purpose is for me -as the last 4 years I have been basically home bound. Then, I stop and remember, just do what we are told to do in His word and He will lead the way. Praise, worship and stay in the Word!!!! There you will find peace and refuge and purpose. He will never leave nor forsake you--His love covers you totally!!!!

We lost our 7 month old little boy this past Saturday and my sister n law heard this song on the radio this morning and had me listen to it. I broke down crying. Its such an amazing song. Good took our baby boy from us way to soon but I know he's watching over us and helping us by showing us the way. Rest in peace baby boy. The whole family loves you.
Who has your baby? God. Use that to do everything you can to strive for Heaven. Strive for Heaven by walking in Christ and helping save as many souls as you can through exhortation and encouragement.

My husband was recently the victim of employment fraud, and resigned while the employer, who hasn't paid him for several weeks, was threatening him. While driving to pick him up, I heard this song on iTunes Radio. It really spoke to me, and reminded me that God is there with us even in the darkest of times. 4 or 5 years ago I was a single mom (after my husband of 16 years abandoned his 2 young children & myself for a man) I was struggling as a sales rep working for ungodly people that tried to get me fired...I was lost & confused..I had pulled into a parking lot because I literally had no idea where to go..I needed to increase my sales, I had no direction from supervisors, I was stuck..then this song came on the radio and I just cried and felt God was reminding me He was with me so I prayed..today I am remarried to the most loving, caring and amazing man. I have never felt so loved, cherished and protected since my childhood. I praise God for giving me hope and direction that day, that is when I drove to my now husband's place of business..God has a plan for YOUR life too❤☝️
That's an incredible testimony, Leslie! The first line of your story could almost mirror mine (except that I have 3 kids). Even the timeline is the same (it was 2013-2014)! I love that you have such a happy ending to your story with a wonderful man who treats you right -- all because of that prayer in the parking lot that God heard!

I am going through some hardships ( or at least I was ) I was looking for a job of my own. Then I found one by the grace of God. I now have been working at OfficeMax for about 6.5 months and it is a wonderful place to work. So many people acknowledged me and I have not felt judged while working there. I have realized that I got the job because the Father decided it was best for me. I am no longer angry at Jesus but very happy with him that he put me in this place

I needed this. I was just scrolling through CZcams. I applied for a job at CHFB. It’s a food bank to help children,seniors, veterans and assistance needed families. I wanted to do something good with my life. I’m passionate about helping people but it seems I might not get the job. I’m sorry. It’s just something that tearing me down little by little inside. But I know gods got my back through all this. My chest feels a little lifted after venting.

I lost my job today! Its ironic instead of feeling worried or feeling bad, i felt happier and relieved. God has gotten me through when i hit rock bottom before, he never failed. Whatever it is you go through just be still and trust in the lord, for he will sustain you and surprise you in ways youll never realize possible. As long as you put your faith in him that he is able then he shall do... everything you are going through are creations and all creations bows down before the lord!
To all brothers, sisters, and friends out there reading. I really need your prayers right now. I feel terrible asking you to have me in your prayers since I may not need prayers as much as others, but regardless, I feel the need to ask to be prayed for. I recently started getting into the word of God recently. I am 15 and have always wanted to be a prophet or something, but just recently picked up a Bible to read. I started speaking to my friends on the internet about God and actually got my two friends saved. It was very amazing and I had a great faith in God. A week or so ago I asked God to be able to speak in tongues and went into deep prayer. I felt the holy spirit's overwhelming power swelling inside my body. It was the best and most powerful feeling I've ever felt. I felt him for a long time and asked what he was doing. I then heard a very vague answer, almost as if it wasn't there. I was told that he was building a temple. I immediately told my parents and spoke to my friend on Discord about it. He thought that it was awesome. The next day after finally falling asleep, I felt the holy spirit in me all day. Off and on that whole day, I felt the swelling and overpowering feeling of the holy spirit in my body. However, after that day, it barely happened. I was very sad and a few days after that, it was completely gone. I went to sleep and in the middle of that night woke up. I started thinking about God and the future and how great he was. But during the process of that, I accidentally in my mind suddenly thought that God wasn't real. It was a complete accident and I didn't even mean to think it but I did so anyway. I immediately felt horrible and started crying asking for God to forgive me. I went on a walk outside on the street at about 4am talking to God and asking for forgiveness. A day ago, I think I asked to please be healed and felt the holy spirit one more time. But since then, I want back to my old ways before starting to read the Bible. I lost the self that I was after completely surrendering to God. I hate that and I want to go back to the way I was after I surrendered to God. I feel horrible. When I start thinking about God, even right now, I have a thought in the back of my mind that God isn't real. I'm trying hard to suppress it but it isn't working that well. I know that he's real and that he reigns forever, but there's just a fake doubt in my mind. It's retarded because I even felt firsthand the power of God and started crying because of it. Once again, brothers and sisters, please pray for me. I really need it. I hope many will see this comment and pray for me. Thank you for reading.
Sidewalk Prophets are good at making songs where you close your eyes and you feel you're transported into a place where there is nothing except the Lord God, you, and your problems. This speaks to me because I'm in college and I have no idea what future lies ahead of me. I thank the Lord that people like these exist.

Divorced from my kids father 3yrs ago. And he got cancer and died a year ago. So it's just me and my girls. Friends and family won't do Bible studies with me. They remind me when I talk about something I've learned that they know the Bible way better than I. I knew things would get bad especially in families but the turn it taken in my life I didn't expect. Maybe they never expected me to want this knowledge so deeply. I think it threatens my closest family member. Which is heartbreaking. My heart has always wanted the best for the ones I love and know for that matter. It's cost me alot of heartache throughout my life. But Christians not wanting others to grow with God I can't rap my head around.

My world fell apart a few years ago when going through a divorce. I have two sons and a daughter and experienced the marriage of two of them and the birth of some of my grandchildren. God GAVE me peace to not only get through, but to celebrate them. He helped my youngest and I start a new life, I opened my own business after years of being a stay at home mom. He has blessed me over & over. Blessed me with a great man to share my life with. Sometimes God's peace is ALL we need! Prayers!

This song has been my prayer during my difficult times when I have been dumped by my ex- boyfriend (we've dated for 6.5 yrs) at the same time had so much pressure and stress at work. Been depressed too because of family problems. As I look back, God had been so so good to me. He breaks me to build me up. I'v been reunited to church, became busy with his kingdom work, landed a very good company and now I've been married. All praises and Glory to Him! I learned that searching His will is the best for us.

As I come from a music family, I make alot of mashups and find myself singing songs that seem to fit with each other, I have that great gift from God. And I mashup hymns and praise and worship songs with each other. I prepare them before church services and even during and I just mash on the fly! It's pretty overwhelming because a song's message can compliment another and I just take it to heart and I start crying and lifting my hands up. It's powerful. And also, to always serve either in the choir or band with my guitar....just gives me such honor to serve God. I just love to be that instrument of God to bring others to Him. It's such a huge blessing!

When I first listened to the "Live Like That" CD, this was the song that really spoke to me. I've struggled for years to find what I am supposed to be doing and I still don't know what God's Will is in my life but I know that I will find it someday. I love this song! God helped me see that I have to wait for things to happen. It's at his timing not ours. And that I cant do things on my own we have to look for him first, not the things of this world. He has solved part of the problem I'm just praying I get my son back and he can live with me and his little brother forever. I'm being patient even though its difficult. This is a powerful song and encouraging. God has made himself real in my life. My parents almost got divorced when i was a toddler due to unfaithfulness but my parents didnt know God. A friend shared the good news and brought them to church and now my parents brought me up in church and they are now saved for 20+ years. I decided to go my own route in high school. Hangin around with the wrong crowd. Smokin weed, selling it, girl after girl, drinking, partying. But im now 20 and married when i was 18 because we brought a child to the world me and my wife. It was an eye opener to me because my heart was somewhere else not with my family. I always knew about God and one time it was gona be over and my child was probably gona be raised by another man. I decided to try God and go to church and live my life by His Holy word and man can i say i see life so differently.. i can never go back to how i was.. i give God all the praise and glory
This song is helping me through a very rough patch of uncertainty of my life right now. I'm without a job at the moment and am looking at a career change. This reminds me that it's in God's almighty hands. It's his will, even though I don't know what I'm supposed to do. God has to help me find out what's next for me and my family.
