When you're dealing with the Adeptus mechanicus you need to keep your eyes open because chance of them double crossing you over old tech are not low at all
its around 75.3% they gona betray a imperial member for lost tech 65% if the member is a space marine chapter and 89% if the member is from the adeptus costodes or the inquisition

I'm running a Dark Heresy game set on a frozen Hiveworld, so I'm really looking forward to the gorgeous screenshots I'll be able to take of this map to use in my game!
While it took a while to get the ball rolling, the gameplay loop has been fine for me. My only thing is that I wish they would optimize the game better/more, my friends and I all can't go to 90 fps or above without our frames dropping all over the place, so we settle for 60 fps (low/medium settings), even though our rigs can handle so much more than that.
Do you think that FatShark would add another faction of enemies? We had Beastmen and Norscans in Vermintide, so it would make sense if Genestealers or Orks would eventually show up, especially since many conflicts in 40K are mostly clusterf*cks between many races.
Judging by the trailer. We might see the Dark Mechanicum and the Hereteks that align with more Chaos related tech beliefs..maybe Vashtorr would be involved.
Given they claim to want to allow the fight to move off Tertium and have us face the titular 'Darktide' that caused the Moebian 6th to turn traitor, I'd say they want to but when is a vaild question. I have already confirmed Tzeenichen iconography in the environment as is and the random bursts of Khornite influence in some dialog indicate there's more than one god taking interest in Teritum and Atoma. Not to mention the continued use of the 8-pointed star.
It is unlikely that they will have anything that isn't allied with the current enemies. I am hoping for the Noxians to show up. Or at the very least a bunch more daemon units like plaguebearers, plaguetoads, and such. Could probably have a Herald of Nurgle as an assassination target.
skitarii unfortunately from a lore standpoint seems unlikely, near certain they wont add it. Skitarii themselves are pretty much programmed soldiers, they have most of their personality removed and have their brain augmented to basically be better puppets of their Dominus. The setting doesnt leave a lot of room for a Skitarius to be put in a penal colony because if it deviates from its purpose its likely going to get recycled for parts to augment another one, not sent to the Administratum for hands not blessed by the Omnisiah to fuck with. Now like a tech acolyte class or something might still work. like some disgraced initiate or something might fit in fine. What would that look like in game? We could have like mechadendrite style melee weapons and a focus on like plasma/melta/arc weapons.

Youd be surprised how few people actually play elden ring. Yes its a popular game, but genre-wise it has nothing in common with a horde shooter like Darktide. If anything, their biggest contender currently is Helldivers - but Sony firmly managed to ruin any momentum that had going for it so its not really a "threat" anymore either
It would be cool to get a new class the Adeptus Mechanics. With Galvanie rifles and Arc rifles. Special mele weapons. With support abilities and can place down traps. That would be pretty sweet. Would help change up the game play a bit instead of just running through a new map on damnation with the same builds im never gonna change because it works.
ive been waiting for a good reason to return to the game. I love it, just feel like new tools and content to play with has been sparse. Hope to hear more soon!

Will we be getting any overarching plot with this release? The lack of story is one of the reasons I have a hard time convincing my friends to play. Vermintide and Vermintide 2 had a linear story progression, but Darktide seemingly lacks it entirely.

I have a theory that Fatshark writers played Owlcats Rogue Trader and realized how god awful their bare bones plot was. After Rogue Trader dropped several things started changing, suddenly the Rogue Trader character is talking to the main cast, they included a Rogue Trader costume pack that looked god awful, and they started mixing up their missions. This finding a hidden foundry isn't very unique but its something that happens in the colony management system of Rogue Trader.
Please make this update worthwhile, Fatshark. Let's face it, the game is getting a little stale and your updates of "a new nurgle unit who throws GREEN grenades, whooooooo!" lead a lot to be desired. If we aren't getting an Ad Mech class of some kind, I'm going to be pissed. I'll pay good money for new classes.
