I often watch/listen as I do chores or get ready for bed. Particularly the classic games like this are quite wholesome to watch since they take me back to childhood. Also, this was the first game I played and what I love about it is how the journals and letters are read by all the characters from the past. I think it really makes the story so much more vivid!
Yeah, the narration makes all the backstory a lot easier to take in.

I'm colorblind when I was a kid I couldn't see if the fruit was ripe and I made my mom pick the fruit for me and she was so annoyed lol

For the horse feeding puzzle there is a book in the den which has pictures of what feed is what. It's part of the things you're supposed to read when you do Tex's quiz.

I like how Tex calls it a quiz but you don't really have to know anything. The questions just repeat until you get all of them right.
I’ve been binge watching these through quarantine and have not one clue how to solve half of these puzzles. I would go absolutely crazy

I played this when I was a kid and could NEVER get past the bean section. So satisfying to finally see the full game!
I made shadow ranch cake a few years ago. My advice--don't. This cake is THICK. Unless you like dense cake with wayyy too much sugar, STAY AWAY.
Thank you for the warning. I would like to try it though, particularly for my sister's birthday. I found a channel hosted by two Nancy Drew fans who figure out the recipes for food from the Nancy Drew games and everything they make looks delicious and fun. I really do want to try making this cake. Maybe there's a way to not put so much sugar??

I just started to learn crochet and knitting. I’m looking forward to making a shawl with that daisy stitch, probably in green and blues. I’ll figure it out when I get there. In the meantime I’m gonna finish my first crochet blanket. And fix my first pillow. 😅

Claire McQuarrie He actually live streamed them all during the government shutdown earlier in January. He said he’s going to upload like 8 of them a month, and hopefully by that point, the new game should be out, or out soon.

Abbey Willow Well, he didn’t do it quite all in one go, not like a let’s-do-all-the-games-nonstop. He did multiple a day and multiple a stream. I think it took like 1.5 weeks, maybe?
