      I hear on you the cathedral part, but they've changed many things. Bullpens, giant video boards, signage, etc.

      Ya that's right. Seems like people have fun letting their kids run around in there. I've only made it to the North Side a couple times the last 20 years but perhaps again some day... Cubs have won 8 out of 9! The NL Central is wacky right now

    LOVED Don Kessinger when he played for the Cubs. He probably hit as many inside-the-park homers as over-the-fence homers in his day. Good stick, no power. And a terrific shortstop. Cheers....

      Agreed, but they did seem to be in order for when they occurred, which could help in researching in finding those dates if that is what you really want.

    They missed the inside-the-park home run by Ron Cey in 1985. Never saw those short legs of his move so fast.

      Calling Kessinger the best Cub shortstop ever is quite the hyperbole considering that Ernie Banks played about half his career at shortstop.

      As I remember… Soto ran like a TOWTRUCK but I loved watching him play. He definitely had some hidden bat power.

    Soto's homer was actually a outside the park, it was actually on the homer side of the yellow line.

    There's something goofy about almost every inside-the-park home run. Weird carom off the wall... Collision of two outfielders... Failed attempt at a diving catch... Fly ball lost in the sun... etc.
