Now what is this map? Well, the animators were given three animals, a cat, dog and a bird and a song. They could animate whatever they wanted with these three animals and I would then take their animations, edit and put it it all together!
Anyways, Wow this map turned out just AMAZING !! Every part for this map, and I really mean it, EVERY part for this map looks fantastic! I am so amazed with what everyone came up with and just wow! I had great fun putting this together and making the parts match but honestly you guys did most of the work for me!
This whole thing really turned out way better than I expected! It's amazing to see how all of these animations together created a story!
If you'd like to make a map simillar to this you can, I've been asked this before so I might as well say it now. You can make a map with a similar concept just not with the cat, dog and bird. ~ - Krátké a kreslené filmy

Gonna turn this dramatic.
The cat, dog and bird are exploring the forest when a human comes along and takes the cat, the bird goes up into the air looking for the car while the dog chases it on foot, after an hour and a half of running the dog and bird has to rest but the dog doesn't want to, so he keeps on going. When they stopped resting the dog sniffed out the cat to find it locked up in a cage, the bird then uses its beak to open the lock, after that they ran back to where they were before, the forest.

Bird: Stops Cat from killing Dog
Dog: Strong Leader but not very smart and very clumsy.
Cat: Smart but not very strong, saves Dog a lot and keeps Dog out of trouble.
Bird: Helps them find the way to wherever they are going. Isn't very helpful but tries hard to be.
Cat only got in trouble once, after getting hit by the storm. Bird wanted to be helpful by saving Cat but Dog wanted to after how much Cat had helped Dog.
Anyways - My thoughts on genders.
Dog: Transgender Male.
Cat: Female.
Bird: Male.

@XxShadowBunnyxX I think it's cute that the dog gets in trouble a bunch, it's so goofy and adorable. However, it doesn't make sense, as big dogs like the one in this MAP are very good at swimming, so there was no reason for the cat to attempt to save it.

This is one of the first MAPs I have ever seen, and still holds a clear part in my mind, even after so many years. Each animator did such a good job, and I’m sure I’ll remember this for years more to come.

I kinda noticed as people worked together to make this personalities for the characters began to show and that is purely incredible!
from what I see we have (I am keeping it gender neutral to avoid conflict)
dog: is strong and brave and leads the group, but the dog may not be the smartest of the group and finds itself often in trouble. but is then saved by the cat so in turn the dog didn't let the bird save the cat so the dog could save the cat after they had saved them so many times
cat; is the brains of the group and keeps the dog out of trouble as much as they can but makes sure to save the dog when it does get into trouble.
bird; the bird is the smaller one of the group (of course) but the bird is still very important as they did lead the god to the cat and formed this group.The bird tries to help as much as they can by leading the way.
I really hope this makes sense and I do not have people fighting me about this because this is only how i interpret it.

i agree. i truly see the cat as a somber, quiet character who doesnt show much love to the dog and bird but adores them as if they were related. the bird, i see as a upbeat happy character, who holds the group together. :)

This M.A.P. nearly made me cry the first time I watched it.
And the fact how at 2:18, when the dog risks his/her life to save the cat, made this M.A.P. really emotional. Again, this almost made me cry, and it still does.
This was hands down, one for my favorite M.A.P.s I've ever seen. Every animator was amazing.
This is still one of the best things I have ever seen in my life. This is so nostalgic and I remember watching it years and years and _years_ ago, when it came out. This not only helped get me into drawing but also inspired me to learn to animate and play music. Thanks for this beautiful thing 🙂

This was one of the first MAPs I had ever seen, so much nostalgia holy shi-
i love how dogs are supposed to hate cats and cats are supposed to hate birds and so on, and yet this map is just like "don't listen to stereotypes" its so good
From what I can tell, the story is:
A dog is chasing a bird one day but runs into a cat, meaning the bird gets away. The cat and dog are going to fight but decide against it and end up becoming friends, so they set up camp and sleep. The bird soon shows up again, out of curiosity, and the cat decides that it should join their group because it might be useful one day. They go traveling for a while, but one day Dog falls into a river and Cat saves him. If they weren't all friends before, they are now.
They come across a fire and decide to stop there and tell stories. After Bird and Dog fall asleep, Cat goes for a walk and realises a storm is brewing. It's tired at that point so it just falls asleep.
The storm begins and Cat is stranded without its friends. It's trying not to get blown away by the hurricane when Dog and Bird show up to rescue it somehow (hey, Cat is the brains here so why shouldn't Dog try to fight weather?). Bird wants to go but Dog stops it because it's too small, even if it can fly. Dog rescues Cat and all three go off again.
(I'm sorry if I missed any part out I was just typing whilst watching oh and this MAP is super cute!!!)

I remember seeing this when it first came out in 2016. Not only was it the 1st MAP I ever saw, but it remains as one of my favorite MAPS. Each animator showed the character’s emotions so clearly and their intentions as well.
Because of this I downloaded the song and started drawing a dog, a cat, and a bird.

Awwwww, life long friends. Although most of the time these three animals dont get along, but if you are lucky enough, they would get along just fine and care for each other and love each other.
Edit:I forgot to mention, I had a dog named Hugo and a cat named Soarsa (Searsha) that fell in love. I still have Soarsa, but my dad gave Hugo to somebody else. But I got another cat named Lindsey.

This actually reminds me of a pup and a kit, the cat accidentally falls into a bucket that flows through a river and the dog follows it, the cat lands into a forest and meets up with the pug and survive together, until the cat finds a partner/mate while the dog finds a mate as well. A while later the cat and pug have kits and pups. They find their mates food, while winter passes along which is harsh. After awhile the cat finds a shed and looks for food there and gets attacked by a bear and the pug saves the cat, the end of the movie, well story. I think the movie was called ''Milo and Otis''.

Coming back to this after so long just feels…like everything is calm again.
iTs been since 2016 and this is still one of the most beautiful masterpieces and maps ever made. Every part ha so much detail and story it’s beautiful. It’s a timeless video. I can watch this forever, and still not ever realize or notice all the details. The music, and animation is lively, and it has so much story packed into it. It’s a thrilling and beautiful map. The characters show a honest reality, and liveliness. This is beautiful. It’s timeless, and amazing. I can’t wait to see what adventure they have next.
I was in a bad mood because of insomnia n' stuff, but this map instantly cheered me up! It's so cute and well animated! Bless you all.

what an awesome idea for a map! every part worked so well together while still having its own unique style, congratulations to all the animators for making one of the coolest and most original maps i've ever seen
bloodpus: i loved your sharp and angular style, reminds me of a mix of tim burton's style with a kind of brushstroke based style, kinda like okami? if that makes sense
toxikmoon: i liked your use of silhouettes but most of all i LOVED how even with the minimal detail that comes with a silhouette you can still distinguish a unique personality for each character, that's such an important thing when it comes to animation and character design and even the pros have trouble with that, so you should be really proud!
ladyteelia: i loved the dreamlike atmosphere of your part, the limited "freeze-frame" style actually worked very well to add to that tone because a lot of the time that's how we remember our dreams and memories, not as fluid movements but in snapshots
ehlinn: i absolutely love your style, i have a huge soft spot for cartoony bouncy art styles and your style is so perfectly suited for animation, so simple yet distinctive. the big eyes add such personality to your characters, and your movement is so fluid and fun, i love it. nice job with that turnaround animation too! those are super tough and you did a great job
nirawa: the lighting and selective use of detail in your part is wonderful, you did a great job drawing attention to the important things in the shot/clip using that. detailed animation is tough but in my opinion knowing when to use detail is even tougher, using the same level of detail as you did in your close up detail shots can make your animation look too busy and cluttered, again something that even the pros have trouble with. fantastic job!
watersee kitty: man that bird animation must have taken FOREVER! it looks absolutely amazing though, as someone with a lot of personal experience with birds (i have two) it always irks me when people draw birds in flight the way they THINK it happens and not how it ACTUALLY happens. i can tell you used a great deal of referencing and research with this shot and it really payed off. birds are in my opinion one of the hardest creatures to animate (hence why you see so few bird animated movies) and you seem to have a pretty good grasp on them. i could really feel the weight of the bird shifting in your part, amazing job.
hawkstorm 221: the colors in your part are so beautiful, you clearly have a great grasp on not only how to light environments but how to light characters based on those environments. your colors were vibrant and pleasing to the eye without venturing into oversaturated gaudiness which is a huge accomplishment you should be very proud of. keep up the good work!
blaky: i love how your part focused less on body movement and more on subtle emotive movement (i hope that makes sense haha) because your style of drawing characters is amazingly emotive and expressive. even in a short clip you get a lot of depth to these characters and feel personally endeared to them, they reflect emotions we've all felt which is one of the key aspects of truly good animation. awesome work!!
