    regarding the 'playing 5 games at a time' conversation I think you finished both Sons of Forrest and Pacific Drive in 1 stream each. I feel like both of those could have been finished closer to the main batch instead of waiting almost a month.

    On the topic at the beginning (more new games, or fewer completed games): Personally I'd prefer if you finished games before starting new ones. For FF7 it was a little annoying getting caught up and having to wait days, sometimes, for more content. If you'd started it a little later and played it more consistently I'd have preferred that. In general I'd say having too many games you are playing at once just dilutes things, we never know what will be uploaded today and tomorrow, so should we catch up on a series, or will we just be waiting 3-4 days anyway? Plus you seem to get more into games if you consistently play it. Not knocking but your memory for things in games isn't the greatest lol, so playing one game start to finish has a better 'feel'.
    All my opinion of course.
    This isn't something that happens all that frequently so it isn't too important, but those are my thoughts.

    I can see myself getting into this game. I have some games that I play pretty often. Survival games are my favorite style. That's why I enjoy cohh's LP's as I learn a lot from him.

    I've seen it's possible to craft items, but can you find weapons in drops from chests, creates or mobs?
    Love ur videoes Cohh, keep it up :)

    A possible solution is space out that games by days of the week. So Monday 1-2 game(s) Tuesday 1-2 ect. This would be easier to space out when there are a lot of releases and on days there is a new release put that in place of the one slated for that time or just add it in for a 3rd game in the day. It would be longer to play through but it keeps things less stressful and might help with things fresh. However, no one game, two days in a row unless YOU want to or you don't need to fill the slot.
    Love your content, you rock the play throughs but also lots of entertainment and fun. Thank you

    I also agree with the idea for the main game playthrough during the morning and the rotating game/games in the evening
    I always watch your CZcams VOD's before bed because you're super chill so it's always great to have a variety to watch incase there is something I'm just not into
    That being said do what feels best for you because I think I speak for everyone when I say watching you play things you actually enjoy is the best viewing experience

  • @NateBrownQR
    @NateBrownQR Před 28 dny

    I haven't finished the vod yet but the idea that you play the same game in the morning and then variety in the afternoon sounds like the exact spot.

    My first survival game was 7 days to die Darkness falls mod. Played with a group of close friends. An it was set to hard enough to enjoy. I was Farming/science had a blast. When I get back into it been thinking of taking scavenger/hunter however may check out some guides first. As the game has had some big changes.

    Absolutely support Julia's idea about gardening!!!
    After 6 years watching Cohh, I realised that my ADHD and my memory is even worse than Cohh's, so I can't stay focused on one playthrough even if I really like the game. 😅

  • @dropdeadguides
    @dropdeadguides Před 27 dny +1

    I sometimes play along with you. But I'm playing that one game at that time. If you do a lot of games simultaneously, the wait for the next video for the game that I'm playing is much longer. Like this playthrough appears to be complete. That's great for me. So the short of it is focus seriously on 2 good games rather than juggle 5.

    I agree with Moonchill. I think having a main game you’re trucking through and a casual game or two at night is good. You’re focusing on beating something efficiently and quickly while keeping variety for yourself and people like moon and myself. I tend to like your not AAA plays anyways. I live for Cohh Rimworld runs 😂 or things like this V Rising

    I’ve been watching you for years. Mostly on CZcams because I work for Publix and my schedule is all over but I could care less about catching the latest thing day one. I don’t get to play games anymore and that was something I really used to love to do. I “play” games now through you. I don’t care the order as long as the game gets completed. Honestly I think you should just do you bro. If you are into the game then you should continue regardless of the new stuff coming out. Play what makes you happy. If you are happy then I can tell and it makes the viewing much more enjoyable. I doubt you will read this because you are all twitch but my 2 cents. Maybe Red can pass it. Btw, Red you are amazing!

    Hey Cohh, I like long form content so any series you plan to finish I will generally try to watch all the way through, I also dont watch the newest video every time though I go back to older series so I can sit through more at once, so basically what I'm trying to say is I prefer finished series but tend not to watch the most recent videos unless its a new game I have interest in, I enjoy your thoughts on games and the way you play, so I dont exclusively watch for either or, but for both, I think the more you like the game the more I want to watch it, of course with a grain of salt there because if I dont like the game I just wont watch or care as much

    I kind of wonder if a streamers need to always play on the highest difficulty with every new game kills the ability to feasibly manage multiple major releases in a timely manner. I know it makes things exciting for both the streamer and the viewer, but for some games that tags on dozens of extra hours

  • @MilSF1
    @MilSF1 Před 22 dny

    Serial vs parallel - You also need to balance out your interest level TBH. Which way would make you still interested in teh game 80 hrs in? Parallel seems like you noticeably lose interest faster. Probably because you are actually interested in one of the other games more.

    @JoeAveron Před 25 dny +1

    Just an opinion from someone who mostly watches on CZcams, you're not always playing something I wanna watch. However, I'm always behind in watching, because you play more games than I have time to watch. SO, when you play five games at a time, I can watch the one I want without falling too far behind. BUT when you play one game for a long time that I might not care for, I end up having nothing to watch. haha

    In regards to the topic of your tweet: I would actually prefer if you finish your games as opposed to suddenly start a new game that is just released. But that said, I do absolutely understand that there are a lot of new good games lately that is simply needs to be covered. Since the particular game is newly released, the other streamers would play it immediately, gaining a surge of views as the game is new and released, so i absolutely understand it. There's so many good games lately, all releasing near to each other. Take this month for example, we have V Rising, Hades II had a surprise release, we have Valheim Ashlands coming up in the horizon. There's so many, I understand that you can't keep up and can't finish your old games due to a tight schedule. That being said, as a viewer, I follow you Cohh, whatever you play I will watch. It is your channel, you do what you want to, you play what you want to. I as a viewer will just keep watching, and I do hope you finish your games but I understand that due to the nature of fast releases, it's totally fine.

    When it comes to streaming multiple games my only issue was how I would be interested in a game and then you would cut it off for a couple weeks to a month or something Yakuza infinite wealth might be a bit of an exaggeration but the updates came later and so much else was going on and my attention went to other things since I never knew when it was going to be back on. My personal suggestion from a CZcams only perspective is when there are multiple games figure out a more structured upload schedule what I mean by that is instead of going full gas on one game and pushing other games to the side, when a new game comes out you dedicate the old game to like a day or two and the new game to like 3 or 4 days and adjust as needed I mean when there were five games out at the same time that you were playing you could have dedicated a big day to each one, giving each one your full attention for that day that way even though it would have slowed down the uploads a bit it would have been a more regular upload schedule instead of being a wait-and-see add hope that you decide to play the game we're interested in on that day.

    I rather you complete the game first before jumping to a new game cohh. I like coming back daily to your channel and know what to tune into.
    Else I have to wait until u finished playing it before watching the whole thing coz I hate waiting for the next part of the story such as in Yakuza game.
    Also this helps when none of the game you are playing is my cup of tea, cause then you will finish the game faster (Few days or few weeks and I can just come back then to see what you are up to) compared to what you are doing now which was so many games concurrently and I am not sure when you will be done causing me to not have watched you for a long while.
    I do like the previous arrangement of maybe 1-2 games or top 3 when you had the cohhzy stream.
    Though from what I understood from your discussion it seems that your audience branch into 2, one that watches you early to see your review and then get the game themselves vs those that watches you with no urgency/plan to get the game.

    On the discussion of games I am in the middle. If it is a really indepth CRPG ala Rogue Trader or BG3 man I want to see all of that but when it comes to survival crafters like this. im done after a couple of days ,the game play loop gets repetitive to watch but that is just me of course. I love a good story. Another caveat I love to play Elden Ring, watching it is boring as hell. Again just me

  • @MasterZhao
    @MasterZhao Před 27 dny +2

    Even with mild ADHD, I would still rather you finish games and do a full playthru rather than bouncing thru a bunch of different games and not complete them.There's nothing worse than getting into a series only to see it end before completion. It's that annoying quality over quantity argument I keep hearing about, but you're not going to satisfy everyone.

    You're not a reviewer, there's no real need to play every new game immediately. People who enjoy watching your play throughs will watch them regardless. Concentrate on one big game at a time and finish it before moving on to another.
