I find it hilarious that Cohh THINKS he needs a 4090 in a OBS encoder server to encode at 4k 60fps when in fact even a 4070 will do it or if you someone like me a Arc A380 is a encoder powerhouse and handles multi-streaming like a bos. For less then $200USD I think. (yes and AV1)

Fun tidbit - there might have not been anything on the random guy’s phone. But, if you looked at The Director’s clipboard, you would’ve seen the script describing exactly what happens after. Same page that you reloaded to read on the ground in the green room. 🙂

What needs to happen is people need to stop deciding early and then trying to generate a brigade that tries to convince everyone that they either agree or are wrong and not one of the cool kids. More games than should be are getting wrecked for EVERYONE as a result of people doing that IN BOTH DIRECTIONS...both over-hype and anti-hype...and the people who go off the deep end in one direction or the other BEFORE release ALWAYS toss a fit, double down and turn the attempts to rule the comment boards up to 11 no matter how the game actually turns out. What we just watched is the barely player-controlled opening cinematic. Setting aside stylistic complaints, I have NO doubt that the game opens up and deepens considerably afterwards. The question is how and and to what extent and whether I'll like the answers to those questions. WE. CANNOT. KNOW. YET. SO. KEEP. YOUR. POWDER. DRY. AND. YOUR. EXPECTATIONS. SANE.

On the topic of riding motorcycles when it's hot outside, I bought a jacket that is mesh with a vinyl removeable liner so when it's hot I can take it out and when it's cooler I can put it back in. It more or less eliminates wind chill when it's in and makes riding in hot weather tolerable when it's removed. It still has armored elbows and a back plate with leather on the sides and shoulders so it's good for the slide as well.

Cohh, I appreciate your perspective and value your opinion, however the meaning being ARPG has definitely morphed throughout the years to generally mean a more specific sub-genera of game. So while ARPG “technically” means Action Role Playing Game, it’s colloquially used nowadays for the Diablo esque style of games. I just found an ARPG subreddit and you shouldn’t be surprised to know that the likes of Diablo, Poe, Torchlight, Last Epoch, and Grim Dawn take up the lion’s share of posts there. That's just a small example. So while you can absolutely just generally blanketly use ARPG like you said, intentionally ignoring how the term has changed and used now is, in my opinion, reductive to the argument and your point. PS: you are CRAZY if Nioh doesn’t fit your Souslike definition lol.

Not comparing a video game to the very video game that inspired it and that the devs made previously (This War of Mine) but to some other game instead is pretty disrespectful. You're pretty much disregarding the company's previous efforts, especially considering that This War of Mine is a cult classic and won so many indie game awards for being so good. Just had to mention that bcz it bothers me. Gamers get no respect bcz of this, not just bcz of the fact that they don't shower.

The "secret" effect of the shackle is unintended, right? The way I understand it is that they implemented it as a zone wide hit with low/no damage but a type that Margit has a special reaction to. So the interaction with illusory walls and flame traps comes just from the fact that the shackle technically speaking hits them, right? Am I mistaken here?
