NEMOPHILA dominates my play list. Amazing band. 🌸✨️🌠
Ace of Spades for the 21st century! They just released a live video of this song from a recent tour...and they kill it. Her vocal range is very wide and deep and she shows off her range in their MV Rise.
They've just released a LIVE video of this song and " OIRAN " - and they KILL both of them live - worth checking out perhaps ?
Title track to the first album. All their songs that you have heard so far are from that 2021 record. The 2nd album, Seize the Fate, came out this past December. And this year has seen a couple newer songs released. Of course , they all have just gotten better.🤘🤘 One of the songs you have done, Oiran, has just had a new official live released.
Great reaction! I hope you will try 《adabana》someday🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
You rated Seikim II's bend highly in several reactions. Saki from Nemophila is his big and loyal fan. Recently, Nemophila played a concert with Seikim II's leader, Demon Kakka. In the first part, Demon appeared with the accompaniment of... girls from Nemophila (the girls played the repertoire of Kakka's Demon, and Kakka called them Demonophila). Then Nemophila played, and towards the end Demon joined Nemophila and together they performed Cursed Sha-na-na-na (from Seikim II's repertoire). This song was covered by Nemophila, I recommend the reaction: 聖飢魔Ⅱ / 呪いのシャ・ナ・ナ・ナ [Cover by NEMOPHILA] czcams.com/video/dVmq2nDZ05Q/video.html They put in a lot of effort but it turned out great.
I like the build in the intro, with the muffle effect. The structure is interesting (and refreshing), going from the first chorus to a breakdown to a guitar solo, so the chorus only comes up twice. I've noticed it in at least a few Bridear songs, too.
Hey David!!! You got a Harumph from me!!lol😂 saw Neh- moe-fila three times and they are good! I love. Mayu, she’s my favorite member!! Thanks bud for reaching to them! Have a great day! Cya ata show sometime
My first reaction that I saw from you was "paper cuts - nirvana", I really liked it and now I watch your videos; although I apologize because the first thing I do in the videos is give a like 😔
Oh shame on you....tsk tsk tsk.
Ironic, they recently dropped a live performance of this song. It was probably dropped after you recorded this video. I'm sure it would have bumped the score up quite a bit. Great crowd interaction from all the ladies (except Tamu being chained to her drums). It is a great "kick in your butt" type of song. I must admit....I lust after Hazuki's.....Ibanez J.Custom RG8527 7-string. In my opinion, that's the nicest guitar she has in her collection.....and they aren't cheap!
SAKI !!! SAKI !!! SAKI !!! 🎸🔥🤘
I agree with you David about it being basically an easy, less technical song, but its just in your face with the power, drive, tempo etc. Straight forward headbanger
At this point lets just keep rolling with his pronunciation. Only on this channel though.
Unfortunately couldn't get to this for a few days after it dropped, but a great reaction! It's funny you saying a live version might have bumped the score, they actually uploaded a live version probably a week or two after you most likely recorded this. Although they also have a making of video for the MV and while the final product looks amazing it was not an easy shoot at all. watching that will give you even more appreciation of the video. Actually I'm guessing you weren't really paying much attention to what was gong on in the video and just focusing on the music (it looked like you had your eyes closed quite a bit), but the lyrics were up there and apart from one line in the chorus they are all English - they actually have a pretty powerful message (the song was released right as the world was starting to come out of the pandemic). But yeah everything in your analysis was spot on - it's not their most impressive song from a technical standpoint but it is a great solid in your face kick you in the pants rock song.
🤘🇺🇦❤️🌸❤️🇯🇵🤘
Btw, it's Neh-Moe-feel-ah
David being tired equals "N'moffla" over Nemofila. Lol. Funny seeing you turn yourself inside out defending an 8 out of 10. Love these ladies and this song, and I think the score as you saw it is just fine. Art is subjective. Thanks, David.
Neh-mo-fil-uh
I thought he was off on it I always call the Nemo feela
Can't go wrong with Nemo, good reaction and score! Part of the Japan Big 4 ( Baby Metal, Band-Maid, Nemo, and Lovebites). Disclaimer: Japan Big 4 is not a real thing, just made that up. Sadly, Lovebites is the only one yet to tour the States. ☹ But I'm optimistic! 😃🤘
Not a bad way to end your day of reaction, reviews and rants. I remember the girls saying when they released this MV: "Too much wind and not enough cloth."
Still a good score for the reasons you explained. There is a live version but I believe that has only been uploaded recently.
Let us hope the message is beginning to filter through about Official Music Videos. 😀
Good
The drumming is nice, of course! It has a Nyango Star deja vú 🤭
I'm glad he didn't finish watching Nightflight or Life. :)
Hi David great reaction as always I really enjoy watching your videos thank you for keeping them coming true BABYMETAL fan here I wouldn’t know who BABYMETAL was unless I saw this band perform one of their songs and then when I researched it they played again BABYMETAL actually came up as the original then I’ve been down the fox hole ever since. I actually played drums to a lot of different music rock and metal are my favorites but I try to be versatile I watch a lot of videos of vans performing live to pick up different styles and tricks and I enjoy watching this band here if you ever feel like a David check out their BABYMETAL cover they truly are a hard rock band and and put good effort into the music take care everyone and stay metal👉🦊👈🤘
One of my top 5 bands right now and they all from Japan
1. Gacharic Spin
2. Hanabie
3. Nemophila
4. Love bites
5. Bandmaid
Babymetal lost there spot because since yui left I not like any of they music for the most part and there last song like hated sorry for the unpopular opinion
🤮 Sreaming vocals not my thing, I guess I’m to old for that 💩
I'm 61 and I like screeming, but not everyone, especially the ones you mostly hear from guys in metal. Most of the time they can't do anything else. Different is the one of herm from the sanger of Hanabie, Jinjer and a few others, mostly female. They always switch quite well between the styles
I didn't use to like them either but I've slowly been coming around and now I really like a song that has a nice mix of screams and clean vocals.
