The yamaha have always had somewhat comfier sit in that they are not as firm, and the deck where the leg is seems bigger than the yamaha. But after actually sitting on each at dealer's I personally find pcx to be comfier in terms of sit, precisely because they aren't flat, I find myself sliding of the seat on the yamaha easier but I gues for longer rides even touring the Yamaha might be more comfortable. As for that leg room, after actually sitting and trying on, it doesnt seem as roomy mainly because the body on the yamaha is wider so your leg is spread a little wider so the pcx actually felt more comfortable too.
I think the biggest advantage on Yamaha is simply that both front and rear are abs. The pcx I think looks better overall, the speedometer and all too, and I think that extra room in the underseat compartment is such a plus for so many practical purposes.

Hi, greetings, I'm from Indonesia. I just found this video and I just realized that your N MAX and PCX only have 125cc cubic. Both of which in my place Indonesia have 155cc cubication and 4 valves with the same model and appearance as in your place. Only distinguished by the choice of colors. FYI : Prices for both now in 2022 around £1,850 (non ABS), and £2,054 (ABS+Traction Control).

The only negative for the Pcx is the rear brake which is very frustrating, yet I still chose the Pcx and never had a problem! As far as design goes, it is way more slick and beautiful to me. Absolutely great performance and perfect for the city! I even crashed it and didn't get anything more than just a few scratches down where you put your feet 🤣 Definitely recommend!

I have had two pcx's and yes you would think it should have a rear disk by now but I've been lucky and never had a problem stopping quickly. It does however have led lighting all round and the Yamaha still has bulb indicators, they are so low down that a guy I met owned a new one and said drivers are not always seeing them.
Yes am biased but watching them together on this vid, for me the styling of the Honda wins hands down.
I know we will never see it in the UK but the 160 would be perfect for me.

I test rode an Nmax 155 last year and was shocked at much room there is. I´m 186cm (6´1") and could easily stretch my legs out and move back freely. Very comfortable even for hour-long journeys. I weigh 110kg so I definitely would have wanted the extra power of the 155.
I went for the Xmax 300 instead though, mainly because of the power. It isn´t nearly as roomy as the Nmax unfortunately and you start to feel cramped after around 90 minutes in the saddle.
Yamaha should make an Nmax 300 and I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Its a shame Honda doesnt have a bike inbetween the PCX and the Forza..as its a fare old jump in price between the two. Yes they have other scooters..but not in the same style. Yamaha have the Nmax then the Xmax then the Tmax........why Honda is not doing the same I don't know. Ok there is no 125 Tmax...but I am talking about pricing...they stick a "Upgraded" PCX between the standard and the 125 Forza they'd be onto a winner.. Though that might put a dent in Forza sales and also the standard PCX. But really...in todays times the PCX should have a rear disc brake. Well...it does..in Asia...why not here?

@@JDMz The PCX and Forza allows you to put your legs out a little in front of you. I suffer from arthristis and being in the seated postion of the SH125i may not be the most comfortable as my knees get sore could lock. I need to be able to stretch out a little.

@@darcychu9652 Yes...but it shoudlnt mean we in the West should have to put up with less choice and in my opinion down graded scooter eg having a rear drum brake instead of disc to save money on their part and make more money out of UK customers. On saying that..the US does get the some of the larger cc versions of the scooter. As always the UK gets the basics at high prices....Maybe in a few years they will put a disc on the rear of the PCX. Then they'll crow about it saying "look at what we've done"...oh but you will have to pay a premium....when the scooter could and should of had it years ago!!...Taken for mugs.
