Im getting a surron my self and this video made me want one even more 😂
Get an e-ride pro dude, their far superior and cost a few hundred more, more upgrades will be coming out for them soon plus, their definitely soon to dominate the market
@@blairnewey8968 ok I might do that
Excellent video, and I had the same experience with the 244's on a modified RadMini. Super planted on pavement and dirt, and in the first mile I was looking for jumps to hit. I could turn up the power to compensate for the weight, but efficiency took a big hit. It normally takes about 180 watts to cruise at 15mph, but with the Shinkos it was 400 watts to maintain the same speed. The tread blocks scrunch together when they meet the pavement, and that friction is what causes the drag. I switched back to stock tires for summer, and will probably use the 244's for winter riding in snow. Thanks again for the video!
Yeah they definitely have their pros and cons, thanks for the comment and thanks for watching man!
do you have any videos of this mythical radmini that can supposedly hit 40-50 mph and do jumps? you are so full of shit and it's weird to lie to strangers on the internet about what your bike can do. I had a modified radrunner plus with a way better motor (2kw peak) and it still only hit 34 mph... also there's no way the rad bikes can take jumps consistently. they are not made for that, you will break your bike doing that shit. the suspension isn't good enough.
I subscribed, definitely looking forward to the video you'll make on this mythical beast.
If it wasn't too easy to acquire flats, the stock tires would be awesome.
Nice job! I hear the 241are lil better all around tire. But I don’t like the tread pattern that much. Think the 244’s still have a bit of an aggressive look that I want.
Thank you! Yessir that was one of the reasons I went for the 244’s over the 241’s
@@hunteronthebike
244s out perform the 241s in all situations except jumping your bike from boulder to boulder which requires a flatter patch to maintain balance. 241s were designed for trials work where 244's were designed for dual sport.
244's are the only choice for those in the know.
i have the 241s and theyre alright for dirt but solid for both, going for a dunlop mx33 19/16 wheel setup
💪🏼💪🏼
I thought about those but I had to go with the charged cycle works sumos that are compatible with the stock 19s!
Hi!
Are Shinko244 tires not compatible with 1,60x19”?
Nice video. Im running a 244 on the rear & stock tire on the front to cut down on weight. I ride 90% street, so i plan on getting supermotos at some point.
Thank you!

My local ebike shop wouldn’t put these on and said they were too small and dangerous i think they thought it was crazy😜
Anyone have a link to some good tubes? For these tires
If you ever get the 241s I’d love a review/ comparison between the 241s and the 244s I’m trying to decide on which ones to go with all things considered(weight, which are better in the street, which are better on trails etc.)
Thank you for watching! I have a couple friends with the 241’s. They feel very similar, and are almost the exact same weight. The 241’s are slightly better for off road in my opinion.
What size did you get the front and rear wheels and are those stock rims ?
Would you possibly know a different tube diameter that will work because I can’t seem to find that exact tube diameter
2.75 is the width of the tire, so anything in that 2.5 - 2.75 - 3 range should work
Hey bro can you put a link for the tires and tubes please?
chargedcycleworks.com/products/shinko-244-dual-sport-tires
The tires are the 2.75x19 size. I don’t remember exactly what brand tube I got, but they are 2.5-3.0 x 19 size.
I bought these tires. I don't see arrows. Are the tires directional?
Nope! They are the same either way
Do I need to get new inner tube?
I recommend it
Standard tubes!
What size of tubes did you get bro?
2.5-3.0 x 19
Thx bro. Appreciate it ⚡️💥👍
Yeah dude no problem 🫡 @@fjwhbdnehdh
does it come wit 2 tires? or just rear
The front and rear are both the same size and they are usually sold individually
@@hunteronthebike that’s what i thought, i only need to replace the rear, and 244 would fit in 70/100/19 right?
Alright forsure. The 244 size that fits the stock wheels is 2.75 x 19@@zestri2k
@@hunteronthebike perfect thanks bro good video !
No worries dude, thanks! @@zestri2k
Cst is a great mtb company, owned by Maxxis, so the tires arent bad quality js bad tread for ebikes like this
Yeah I actually liked the feeling of the stock tires quite a bit, they just wear out pretty quick on the street lol
Imma sub to u brody 🫡
Thank you I appreciate it 🫡
