This ASUU Chairman is a true leader and comrade! He indeed understands what he represents and stand for.
We all have to understand that ASUU’s struggle is way beyond their EAA and salaries but is for the Education standard of the future of our kids and generations unborn.

If we all can just be neutral, pay close attention to the host and the ASUU representatives present, it should be noted that ASUU is not opposing raising funds to support the progress but he clearly stated that using ASUU name without prior consultation and approval of ASUU should not be misconstrued as ASUU’s involvement in the fund raising for ASUU in whatsoever attribution. This is clear and not to be taken in a blind manner or manipulative fashion. Also, why would the host say that after the money is gathered to a certain degree, the funds would be handed over to the same Government he alleged to have officers siphoning or stealing the money in one way or the other. Likewise, the ASUU man stated that their salaries are statutory, so if that is the case, it means that so long that their salaries are statutory and paid, it makes it very easy for them to go on strike, the act of which is equally wrong as the ones getting paid by the government for what’s not labored for with reference to the story about IPPIS. The statutory salary must be stopped and or they should be held accountable for being paid and yet went on strike to deviating from fulfilling their duties paid for.
The over reaction of the host is very unnecessary. It’s a simple understanding to continue the fund raising on behalf of the students our children’s future. SIMPLE.
It’s a complete opposite of what the host projects or alleged to support or proclaimed to care for or about. Am not in understanding of his unnecessary dissidence.
It’s not about ASUU but about our children and future. This is what the host should respect and stick to if he truly and deeply believes in his preaches. Thanks. Jyde Adelakun

I am so disappointed that ASSU could come to this level to present such a government case. However, I am so proud of this ASSU leader, he is a man of high integrity.
Professors/Educationists shouldn’t come down to this level to discuss issue that belongs to the government. It is purely and strictly government’s case.

After watching this video, I finally realized that there are only two reasons why this tantalizing, exhilarating, gladdening and razzle- dazzling video would enhance different assertions.
One is the collective use of colloquial abstract representation of normative assertions owing to the distinction in regulatory and derogatory affirmative relations to binary patterns.
The second is that even I don't know what I said above and I've just wasted 20 seconds of your time.
So therefore, with that being said and all protocol duly observed, I hereby declare vawulence and maximum emotional damage.

Could the ASUU president let us know when he last published a paper, the intellectual rigour and value of the paper BY INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS? ASUU is COMPLICIT in the devaluation of the Nigerian educational system. The ASUU President's initial response to the monies raised, SHOWS POOR intellectual response to what he perceives to be an undersirable situation. Rather than outrightly reject THIS LABOUR OF LOVE with disdain, AS A SO-CALLED worker IN THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY, he and his fellow scholars - if they live up to that essence of true academic industries - should have thought up a CLEVER, ETHICAL approach to this LAUDABLE PUBLIC-ENGAGEMENT campaign. This ASUU's president has NOT shown much capacity for intellectual and logical thinking. What a disappointment
