That comp q 15 is begging for more power, but the jensen @600rms should be a perfect match for a comp c 15 But that compq is rated for almost double that at like 1100w iirc Who knows, it might be louder with a 600w rms comp C 15 in the same box

Then XDA91RBs are under $100 new on ebay. They have been dyno proven to just under 800 watts rms 1ohm. I hit 138.4 at 52hz with that amp, $90 Skar SDR12 in a prefab tuned to 35hz. It was in a 2door GTI hatch though.
Get that man a fuse before all hell breaks loose! I recommend a breaker and a GM battery stud so he can wire his shit directly to the battery. He could also get a new battery that has GM side terminals AND posts on top.

If this is your hobby and you love music then you will figure a way even if it is one thing at a time. Don't waste money trying different things but stay in a budget and get your install correct, learn what it takes for good sound. You'll be surprised what coaxial speaker, proper crossover frequency and the right amp can do.

There are different levels to bass, there is bumpn loud, bumpn low and then there is sq precise motor control bass where you get out the vehicle of a tuned car and you ready to go back to the lab and learn how so and so got their music to play in harmony. Example the Orka built Kia stinger with 4 Gladen 6.5 in a ported box hitting unbelievable but combine that with the great attack of the midbass upfront and the clarity of Mosconi amps and pro tuned Mosconi Gladen dsp, pro install you have a unbelievable sound experience you will never get from Jensen, a head unit and suspect power. Car audio has levels sir and if you get a chance swing by a pro level shop with a demo car, iasca event or come to the next Mobile Solutions expo and you will see. I'm after that pro sound and believe me it is a process of patience and not just parts
