    Have you observed any similarities among these gas grills in this price range? They seem quite alike, don't they? Join Trevor as he delves into the distinctions among all the gas grills priced at $3,000. You'll observe that the exteriors, burners, and internal components share striking resemblances across these units. I though exactly the same thing when I went shopping that some of these are made by same chinese factories bc they looked so alike in parts, and prices were similar not much difference between those brands in bbq galore and some other stores in the phx, az area. I ended up with a Napoleon.

    Hi, which built in grill would you recommended for south Florida weather? It will be under a covered patio without walls. I was thinking Blaze but a sales rep told me they rust. Also, what’s the most common grill size with more options? Thanks and will definitely be calling you once the flooring is installed.

      Blaze makes a Marine Grade grill for coastal environments, which is made of 316 stainless instead of the usual 304 stainless. This grill is available in 32 inch size and is salt water resistant to corrosion. BBQ Guys carries them in stock with free shipping in 24 hours.

    Good video. Thanks for producing this.
    The story that I heard is slightly different than what you discussed here.
    I was told that BBQ Guys has a warehouse full of Blaze grills and has stopped ordering new shipments from China.
    The factory over in China sent a rep around America looking for grill manufacturing companies to bring to market their own version of a Blaze grill. Each American grill manufacture had the opportunity to customize the Blaze grill to their own liking. It offers a Blaze-like product at a Blaze-like price point.
    It would be great to see a review of the Broilmaster B-Series (B is for Blaze) and the MHP Dragon Fire grills.

      I have a Jenn-air made by nexgrill in 2004. Almost identical in parts to these new grills. I actually just easily rebuilt it given the wide availability of these parts. Interestingly, Nexgrill merged with Megamaster in 2022 and created the Global Leisure Group which is focused more on “private label” branding which probably explains all of these identical models from different companies.

    just to circle back. hardly any grills are "made in USA". weber "designs and assembles in USA" from components that are mainly imported from china and surrounding suburbs. weber claims "made in the USA," but it's bullshit. that said, i have found that their grills actually last a long time, and represent good value for the money because it is good china crap. there exists what i call good china crap and bad china crap (charbroil, sunbeam, et al). that means that they are some subset of crap, at their best. to be sure, nearly 100% of the grills on the consumer / prosumer market something of either version (good / bad china crap). i'll pay top dollar for an indoor pro-level gas range, but i refuse to pay the same amount for an outdoor grill, even if it is good china crap. at the end of the day, all outdoor grills are crap...way overpriced for the most part.

      Weber does not use real Stainless and starts to rust away in the first year.

    • @nhojcam
      @nhojcam Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@gg80108, the stainless is technically "real" but of low-quality. it's funny how even a grease splatter or two will begin oxidizing if not cleaned up right away.

    • @gg80108
      @gg80108 Před 6 měsíci

      @@nhojcam I like those magnetic thermometers and sticky magnetic pads. they stick great to my Weber. Know why they paint a weber, so its off of warranty before you notice the rust and doors fall off. Yes you are right about the pits from just the splatters. They sent me a couple of new pieces in warranty a few years ago.
      I have a outdoor exhaust hood. outdoor kitchen that is made out of 304-grade stainless steel. Looks great not a spec of anything on it except it collects dust.
      They upped the price way up, but I would not buy at that price today. Gonna buy a grill more expensive than the hood. Who buys these 8 burner monsters for the hired chef to cook on?

      Viking, Twin Eagles, Hestan, Fire Magic, Lynx and Alfresco are some of the many brands manufactured in the USA. Napoleon Prestige series is made in Canada.

    "BroilMaster" is a stupid name. Think about it. If you cook on it, you are bbq'ing or grilling. In fact, you CAN'T broil on a gas grill. You can do just about any type of cooking on a grill, except broil! Most grills, even the ones you sell, are just some chinese variation of some other chinese variation. So, the "good" chinese crap.
