Sometimes he has donated an entire concert's proceeds to help people. During this pandemic, he donated 5 tons of food to his capital city. (He tried to keep it a secret but he was found out.) He also became the first ambassador of Project C.U.R.E., the world’s largest non-profit distributor of donor medical equipment and charitable aid. The project distributes aid among 135 countries. 😁

Dimash plays 7 musical instruments, he owns a Doctorat in Music very recently, I might add, and due to Covid, he is now able to sing in 8 octaves. Before covid poor him, he could only do 6 octaves.

This song was composed a very long time ago (like year 1600 or something like that)by Tomaso Albinoni,and the lirics were written in the 90 by Lara Fabian.if you don't know who is Lara Fabian you got to check her out ASAP,she is one of Dimash's idols.....and she has an incredible voice too

He is totally amazing as a human being and a top tier singer, easily the best I have ever heard and in my lifetime that covers a lot. He makes me emotional at every performance and this song is even more so; he kills it. Have listened to him everyday for over 5+ years since discovering him. When I first heard him do two of my all time favorite songs; one French and one Russian, he had me from then on. No one has performed those songs like DIMASH.

I really enjoyed watching your reaction to this song! He truly does give 100% (and maybe more) in this performance. The people that the camera focuses on who are not in the audience, are the other competitors. Dimash is so nice that they all seem to have become his friends and when he was sick they helped him. Shortly after I discovered Dimash I watched his "Concert in the Rain". It was an outdoor event and included many singers I think but by the time it was Dimash's turn it was raining. The fans had waited for something like 6 hours for him so he just did a mini concert (30 min) in the rain until his people insisted that he leave. Even then he stalled a bit and got them to take a "selfie" of him with his Dears! After seeing that video I knew why his fans loved him so much! There are also a lot of short (and longer) interview videos where you can see more of what he's like. He is also a lot of fun and enjoys joking around with his friends. He said that was one of the hardest parts about being in China where he didn't speak the language-that he couldn't joke!
Oh, the "a" in Dimash is pronounced like "a" in "mama" rather than the "a" in "ash".

"The song was almost haunting and I don't remember the original giving me that, like that chill down to my bones.
She really just has such a unique sound that I really felt like I wasn't really ready for her. I am sure during the song some of you probably noticed that my mouth was hanging open and I had to remind myself to actually close my mouth so I don't look like a big dummy.

Small country, everybody knows everybody's business. 6 years later she sent a bandit copy (SOS)right after his 1st appearance on The Singer saying Who's this ? I texted, have no idea but he isn't human. Answer - Rock 'N Roll Boy. Nooo, hey talked to his cousin, he's in school, yer nuts. He WAS going, entered field trials for this early spring , only immediate family knew, & keeps winning ! The country is nuts ! He plays 7 or 8 different instrument's, is a male model in china, writes, composes music. He eats, sleeps and breathes music. If you notice he conducts the orchestra with his hands. This was when he was in a Chinese competition, I Am Singer. He was a wild card in the show because he isn't from China. His dad is a pop singer and mom an opera singer. He wanted to fuse the two music's together. He holds notes much longer than in this song. He is truly a blessed gift to all of us. Very humble too. His latest song Stranger is something else. Have fun on your Dimash journey. Lots to discover and one thing I will tell you is that once you think you’ve seen or heard it all, you will still be in for surprises. No other talent like him. He is pure joy to watch and listen to. This particular performance still brings tears to my eyes. After what must be 100 plus times I’ve seen it. Cause he went hard and the emotion combined with that unreal voice gets me every time.
A suggestion for next up would be Daybreak. An emotional filled song that he shreds your soul with his delivery.

The others in the background are his competitors in the competition,but they were as shocked as everyone else. He was unknown when he entered and famous when it finished. The competitors were lovely and he made friends with a few ,he has even performed with some of them.I saw him live in London in 2018 best night of my life ,live he is totally amazing he has such power and his show was fantastic

Just for theatricality and emotional impact this may be one of my favorites. He had the crowd whipped into a frenzy.
