Having seen Dimash live in concert I can tell you it is an incredible experience. He is so warm, so interactive, so appreciative and respectful to his fans that the whole place was just happy and warm. You will see songs that will literally make you hold your breath. Ave Maria for one. Not the one we all know but one written just for Dimash with no lyrics. It is just his voice and it is so beautiful.

He dosent just sing!!! He IS the songs!!! He feels every note in every word.
This is from the competion "Singer" from China in 2017! He was invited to come there. He competed with well known Chinese singers and no one knew him when he came there. From episode 1 he became famous and from episode 4 he was a mega star there. Every outher contestent took really good care of him. He was the youngest ever in that contest! He was 22 when he started and the competion ended 14 weeks later!!!
If you wanna hear him playing moore instruments he does 1 song from his home country Kazakhstan in that competion and later too and here he hade a special made costume that is done in a Kazakh way. I love that one. Also he siings in Kazakh and it feels even moore then he does that. Here are the links..

If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Great reaction! Another reactor said the other day that what makes Dimash so great is that his voice has a way of connecting directly to the emotions of the people. Very true. You might enjoy watching some of the little fun videos of Dimash being himself or one of his interviews. They will give you a sense of what an amazing person he is outside of singing. For example, the other day in Dubai when he went to a big fashion show to receive an award, he walked down the red carpet with both of his grandmas on his arms. So sweet!🇨🇦

This performance was in 2017. He is now 27 and has been in formal musical training and education for 22 yrs. Yup, age 5 when they realized he had perfect pitch. He sings 7 octaves and 9 semi tones in 13 languages. He plays 8 instruments. He has won over 30 music awards worldwide. He has over 10 million fans worldwide. For instance he played a sold out concert in New York in 2019 and fans came from 68 countries to see him. Covid is what has slowed his rise to fame. He was on a sold out tour when it hit. He played his 1st concert in 2 yrs on the 25th of Mar (2 days ago) in Dubai Coca Cola Arena, largest indoor arena in the middle east. Once he makes it to the USA which is his plan itll help him tremendously. Enjoy. There is no bad performance. Oh and btw "one with the music" is perfectly said. Dimash said in an interview, " if you were to open my head you'd find music. If you were to open my heart you'd find music. "

*When Dimash did this song, Lara sent him a message to say she loved his performance...but she didn't know she is one of his fave singers. Years later he would get to sing with her.* (In your SOS video I added all the other links to this competition he did). He has sung in 13 languages so far....and plays 8 instruments.

So glad you reacted to this performance - the depth of intense emotion Dimash displays is not comparable to anyone else - one of my all time favourite performances by him...and yes...his voice does indeed touch your soul. When you consider that when he performed this at 22 years of age, he was fluent in 2 languages [neither of them English], the performance is even more outstanding. For me, SOS from this TV show catapulted him into the spotlight, but Adagio cemented him as the greatest singer of all time. His voice is indeed, the connection between earth and heaven.

Yes. Dimash pours 1001% of himself into every note & every breath between. You go on a journey with him - a different journey every time - and find yourself breathless at the end - and in the middle... and... And then there's that ridiculously engaging natural little boy grin at the end. Hearts melt all over the world.
I always think, watching this, that for any other performer to drop to his knees & pound on the floor would look ridiculous or over melodramatic - but with Dimash it's; 'Well of course! How else would he finish?! It's entirely congruent with the intensity & emotion of the performance. # Note: Have some tissues to hand. You're gonna need em!

Dimash enrolled in music college at 5 yrs old. His vocal cords have received intense training for 20 yrs. He holds master's degrees in many different types of music. He is considered to be the best vocalist in the world and a master performer. He sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. He is an exceptional singer and excels in martial arts. His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known singer. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. He appears in front of crowds of hundreds of thousands of people and is known to give the proceeds to charity. He is a very humble and shy man. He stands at 6 ft. 3 1/2" tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was 22yrs old at the time of this performance. His first album went platinum in 47 seconds.
Lara Fabian I think wrote this in Italian. Then the stats about four other composers are listed with her in English. Dimash had no English lessons by the time he sang this on the singer. They said he did it phonetically. But near this show he started taking English lessons and Mandarin the two hardest languages in the world. One of the words I think you were reaching for that Dimash does is emote to the listner whatever emotion he wants them to hear. You were confused by your emotions when listening to sos. Even tho you didn’t know the lyrics then Dimash became the person, character in the song. I’ve never seen anyone get me with emotions from a language I didn’t know. This was 2017 by now 2022 Dimash is a 5th grader in these two languages. I’ve heard him speak English and he sound fluent. I don’t know if Dimash English here is proper or if one of the written versions of Adagio were the words he sang.

i consider my taste in music trully eclectic and thus appreciate all of what Dimash performs. i personally followed Dimash from his performances is the chinese show the Singer. i began grom SoS and chronologically till the end. i am so glad that i did. it makes me feel like i watched this incredible artist become a mega star.
I only discovered Dimash last year and sunce then I listen to him every day. This is one of my favourites and I hold my breath every time I hear it.

I am blown away. I was hesitant after SOS but his voice is so great. But with this song I really connected with the emotional side of listening to a great singer and I was amazed. Thanks for doing another of his performances.
So glad that you gave Dimash another listen, the vocal transitions especially to higher notes is usually an expression of intense emotion, if they react to Daybreak, which is a true story of a 2 year old and his parents along with others on a railcar that falls, the father lifts the baby to safety before it crashes. The song is sung from the perspective of the child, who was adopted by the woman who wrote the song. An incredible performance, but heartbreaking in its truth.

I've been music obsessed for as many years as both of your ages combined and, for me, this is the most spectacular vocal performance I have ever seen. Lara Fabian wrote the words and performed this song in the late 1990's. If you care to see her original version, it is available on youtube as well. For me, however, Dimash makes his version even more emotional and dynamic than the original. I'm enjoying watching you react to Dimash.

Since The Singer is a Chinese program, they put Chinese subtitles + subtitle the language it is sung in. However, they did add translations to the shows. You can add "Eng sub" after Dimash + song title and usually get a translated version. He was 22 at the time of this performance, is 27 now, and will have a birthday in May.
Dimash was born with "perfect pitch". Plays 6 instruments too. Yes he really makes you feel the emotion of each and every performance, as I have said he washes your soul with emotion. Remember he does do all types of music, I felt Adagio would be good for several reasons, it’s an incredible performance, it’s Lara’s song, it is also in English. Lara contacted him after this performance and congratulated him on his performance, by the way. Watch again with tissues 😊. I know that you have had many recommendations, I think Opera 2 would be good because it shows a fun side of Dimash with an incredible performance, the longer version that mentions his father in the audience is extremely touching. The music was originally attributed as Adagio by Albinoni, but there is controversy over the composition. However, Lara Fabian is rightfully attributed with the lyrics. Dimash has acknowledged his appreciation of Lara Fabian as an inspiration. He performed with her in a trio called Ti Amo Cosi.
