yeah, that was a weird reaction from mel b. i think it's cause he used the word 'creepy' in the intro, people can sometimes get their head stuck in words. but, maybe if she listens to it after a week she might realize it was an off day. i will say, sadly, scary spice isn't as cool as i thought she was back in the day, as they say, never meet your idols. great song, had a bit of elvis, a bit of 'great balls of fire', and, well, a whole lot of curtis. nicely done, made me smile for sure, we don't hear stuff like that much anymore it seems.

I've seen the Alice audition before and still have the same thought I had before. She was making love to the audience with her song choice. She is just wonderful. Who could ever say "no" to that.
If that's what it's like to be made love to by a woman, then sign me up. I suspected I was missing out on something, by being strictly heterosexual. And now I see I was right. Well. Missed the boat on that, I guess. At least I can listen to Alice sing, and dream of many things.

I always love hearing this audition from little Janet Devlin, with that lovely "Irish cry" in her voice. That's something special, that isn't easy to mimic. With that "cry", and her beautiful tone, when Janet sings "This Is Your Song" she makes it into her own song. And, it's enchanting.

Janet Devlin and Craig Colton are just lovely people with a fantastic talent and a perfect song choice for their voices. Their auditions always makes me really emotional for different reasons even years later. Thanks to them for doing that!

When you realize Alice got a ‘no chair turn’ audition on The Voice around 3 months earlier it makes her whole demeanor understandable, (something was very odd that no one turned, they were all clearly enjoying her performance)

Janet's voice is so sweet, beautiful and heavenly. I could listen to her ages, I really could. Her voice reminds me of my first ever crush, dreamgirl and love. We sat next to eachother in class all the time and when we went to music, I sat next to her, our music teacher would start playing the piano or keyboard and she'd start singing. She had the sweetest, most beautiful, most heavenly and and most soulful sounding voice ever. Whenever she sang, my eyes watered, my ears and my heart would melt and I would just be left in a trance.
Craig had a great voice. A really great voice and a cracking personality. I loved how funny he was and I love his sense of humour.
Mel was very unprofessional here. That kid had talent for sure. That look was very unbecoming on her. I think she was turned off by his cut out of her but she should have been flattered and it should not have stood in the way of her professional opinion.
She is just scary spice being the real Mel. B. A toad.
Wouldn’t want to have anything ever to do with a person as untalented or ignorant as her criticizing me if I were him. She can’t spot talent past her ego.
Never liked the spice girls anyway but she just gave credit to my opinion of her. Absolutely unprofessional and arrogant to boot. Glad she got let off the show.

Anyone else remember Yoli Mayor preforming on AGT when Tyra was hosting. She did “I put a spell on you.” And they stopped her and said she looked way to old for 21, and it just wasn’t working for her. And then she did a different song and they went crazy for her. She was at least 50 pounds heavier than she was for Idol, and my god did her voice grow from the time she was on AGT. She’s incredible.

I am quite disappointed with Mel B and her attitude towards Curtis. She was obviously triggered by something. I think he was quite authentic and liked her and I think she must have thought he was making fun of her. But I didn’t see that at all. I bet his whole attitude about her changed as I know mine did.

I totally agree to the fullest. I got to meet her long ago (she was flying first class I wasn't but that wasn't gonna stop me from saying hi) and she was really rude and mean. I walked up to her seat and said " I'm sorry I'm not trying to bother you I don't even want an autograph (I did tho) I just wanted to say I love your music and it's gotten me through a lot of dark time"....... And the only thing that woman said was and I quote " well u r bothering me so please leave". I was in shock. She maybe beautiful on the outside but her insides r ugly AF.

Bella is my kind of girl! I left school as well. I really respect her listening to her inner self and her mom for supporting her. Few are able to do that ! Bravo... and the voice that can carry her through life, I'm sure she has other gifts as well.

In the Curtis audition The Spice Girl came over as a very petty , unprofessional judge. She seemed unable to separate his nervous shy start from his actual talent.

It just came to me... why todays Music is lacking what the '60s Music had in spades! In the '60s we played because we HAD to! We had MUSIC IN us and it HAD to come out. THAT was the motivation. When asked what the "goal" was, Frankie said, "I want to be famous!" That's why the emptiness is so prevalent in what is called "Music" today. The goal is NOT to make great MUSIC, it has NOTHING to do with music, just a need to be "famous". It's really VERY sad!

Mel couldn’t handle that a young guy like Curtis has more talent humor and appeal in his little pinky than she has in her entirety even with world renowned producers and autotune working around the bend to fix her vocals.
She wouldn’t have made it without her three other counterparts in a band that was as irritating as all fu** back then and even now.
I know that was ten years ago but I hope he has done well for himself. At least he has talent. She had to sleep her way up to get where she got to. And she is just as irrelevant now as she was back then. Talk about scary, should call her “Karen Spice”.

He was nervous being on the stage in front of thousands of people and star stuck having his lifelong idol in front of him. Just because he has thicker and darker than usual eyebrows and dark eyes, doesn’t make him a serial killer. What a pathetically inappropriate and a Karen thing to say.
This why you should never meet your idols. Because they will always make you feel like sh**. And to top it off, you are saying that someone who literally has the word scary in her name isn’t someone you should worry about is lost on me.
He was excited to meet his favorite artist and she killed him. Even though he is a million times more talented and funny than she will ever be.

I like that Janet did the Moulin Rouge version, her voice is pretty, but I've heard similar. I think her accent is what really adds to it.
Craig Colton reminded me of the old singer songwriters like Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, etc. I might have just been the Adele song, but he's got something special with it.
