Let me guess. BECAUSE this dead brother was thrown out of one BY THAT guy's orders. Haven't seen Reacher but seen enough clips off of YT to figure Reacher out. He's the kind of man we wish all men are. Honest, strong and willing to do the right thing even when it is sometimes the hardest thing to do against all odds. And oh, looks totally badass doing it.
As someone who watched Batman and Wild Wild West as a kid, I love that there are still shows that deliver on the big fight scenes.
This one would be much improved with the "Bam" "Boom" "Kapow" overlays
The Wild, Wild West is one of my favorite shows of all time. Grew up with it.
Reacher has 9 "fists": his fists, his elbows, his feet, his knees, and his forehead. Jack Reacher never loses a fight!

All these cuts really make you appreciate the movies and shows that focus on choreography and shoot fights with very few if any cuts.

Amen. This "fight" scene was laughable and one of the many low points of a disappointing season 2.
Can't count to 3 without a cut and switching between people almost each time. Was giving me a headache, had to look away.

Agreed. Although Season 1 was far more interesting and the writing/acting, superior. Reacher suddenly became a silly and ordinary NCIS

Man, choreographed movie and tv fights are so great and always so perfect. A shame it doesn't work like that in real life all the time.
This one was pretty terrible though. Lots of shaky cam and quick cuts because the choreography was limited to one or two punches at a time. The season as a whole was not good, but hopefully they can right the ship for the third season.

As a retired LEO, I have been in my fair share of fights, in some my life was at stake. Never once did a complete fight go totally as planned and as perfectly as shown on TV and in movies. 😂 @@Laceykat66

Since Columbia MO stopped curbside recycling pickup-but still charges for the service-we take mine to a drop off site. Wife did this by herself early evening on day, encountered a group of men approaching her from behind containers-chica, aki or similar' greeting'. She had keys on her person, jumped in the litlel sedan then realized she would have the approaching miscreants behind her, so she changed direction and drove towards them, scattering them, giving them the scare they had given her. Thankful for the lesson on situational awareness and always have a clear path of escape.
Ummm, why would turning around and driving at them be a better choice than driving away? You're wife committed attempted murder because someone said "cans, chica!"?!?! The way you describe it, makes your wife possibly more guilty of more serious crimes! You can't retaliate against a theft with attempted murder!

They completely changed the set when the bikers rode up on them. At 1:16, Reacher and. his people were looking into the backside corner of a building, that doesn't look like the Steakhouse they were headed. In the previous frames where they were pulling into the parking space, they were more along the side of the building where there were lit signs. In the next moment when the bikers showed up, there were no lit signs where there should have been.

Brutal bone crunching choreographed stunt tricks go on for hours
yanks are also good at dubbing tarmac squealing tyre sounds over a car chase on grass.
We have to throw reality out the window and look on it as escapist entertainment via the movies.
We also thought the crocodile hunter was real too, not knowing the croc was sedated, hog tied and tethered for "don't try theess at home" with a team of backup croc wranglers should anything go wrong.
Tarzan's rubber mould was way better back in the 50's ( sheesh 70 years ago)

Ahhh, television. The biker gang has the upper hand, with their guns trained on Reacher's whole crew. This fight is already over. But instead of making them handcuff themselves, or just shooting them on the spot, they give up their advantage, put everyone's guns away, then stand 3 inches away from the giant guy so he can grab them. The two ladies don't take a scratch, somehow, and one of them wins her fight with a high-heel. But "no noise," he said, so it all makes sense.
The same way the Bond villains use to give away their master plan instead of ending James when they had him trapped.
It really is stupid. They stand there and let the biker gang disarm them so they can go hand to hand. And the biker gang was paid to kill them but they didn't have enough money or connections to supply silencers for THEIR weapons? Really??
And his comment "Cops murder people all the time" caused me and most of my friends to skip whatever series he had coming up next.

this was fun to watch. is was shallow in writing and charter development. its the difference between art, and commercial art. just a lesson.
the most unrealistic part of this fight is that the bad guys are at least 5 people short.
I missed a scene where the guy with the big mouth is having his lasts breaths and reacher just says:"see? I told you!"

I thought it was interesting that they were shown driving down the highway not being followed. Reacher says he's hungry so they pull into a random food joint. Amazing! Here comes the biker gang looking just for them.

these fight scenes are wayyyy worse than in the first season aren´t they? First season the choreografy and camera work were amazing, here it´s just some generic thing with lots of shaking cams and quick cuts
