How to Paint Penitent Engines

- In this video, I'll show you how to paint a Penitent Engine for your Sisters of Battle army! The Penitent Engine is a great focal point for your army so I have used a wider colour range than normal, and I hope you agree the results are pretty good! You can also use this scheme to complete a Mortifier contingent, if that's your preferred flavour of murder machine for your sisters of battle!

I just wanted to say this was an incredibly helpful guide. I had to fudge a few things as I didn't have some of the paints, but this was far easier to follow than any guide I have found so far and my model turned out great even though I am a complete noob!
I love the lore and models but sisters has been a tough faction to start with
Awesome! Glad it helped! I have a few susters tutorials so hopefully useful!
I love style you were gesturing your brush. It's relax, quick but pricise enough to make the final result look decent. Real "Painting Happiness" you are.
Cheers!
Ive just followed your guide and my Pentinent Engine came out looking so good! Thank you!
Awesome!
Thank you so much ! I was lost with no clue on how to paint my mortifiers.
With your help, I've managed a fine job on these 2 and even bought 2 more ! They went from a desperate project to one of my fav units to paint, I even plan to get 2 more 😂
Awesome - glad I could help!
Don't have Sisters of Battle and probably never will but still watched a a really good guide, stay safe and have fun!
Cheers Jono :)
Yesterday I thought about how cool it would be to have a guide for this. Thank you! ❤️
No problem Jonas! I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful
Love the guide! Would also enjoy it if you were able to do a guide for the Exorcist tank, in the martyred lady colors.
Thanks for the comment! That's one intricate model haha! To be honest I would use the same techniques that I used for my Martyred Lady tutorial, just a bigger scale!
I like the scheme you used for the skin color of the gentleman - seems simple enough. Thanks for the video - can't wait to build mine today and get going.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great guide, thank you so much. Really helped me through my first Patrol set.
Glad it helped!
Speak of the devil. I've been looking at painting my engine this week and lo and behold! This is great!
That's great timing! I hope you find it useful!
The best runelord brass i find to be one that has been thoroughly shaken, my preferred method is 2nd class through the Royal Mail.
Haha
@@ThePaintingCoach great vid btw, even if it is an old one now
Cheers :)
Fantastic video. Would love to see a Valorous Heart Cannoness! Keep up the great work
Thanks for the feedback - I appreciate it! As for the Valorous Heart I can't promise anything but we will see when GW starts shipping again!
Great work, as always. I like Sycorax bronze a lot more as highlight on Balthazar in case it's useful.
Thanks Ciaran - and thanks for sharing the tip!
Ooo! These are next on my list of Sororitas things to get too after I finish assembling/painting my Sisters Squads.
Awesome! Hope the vid helps!
I've built one of these so it's great to find a video on how to paint it. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! I hope the video is useful!
Great paint job
Thanks Roger!
Cool tutorial. Keep up your good work!
Thank you my friend!
Wonderful guide. Are you going to paint any Sister tanks?
Thanks for the feedback Darin - I may on stream if I get chance - I tend to paint vehicles with an airbrush and as not everyone has one I want to try and keep my videos accesible to all!
I always paint mine with vanishing paint, then chuck them under the stairs so I can forget they exist.
🤣
Tidy 👌🏻
Thanks Nick!
Please paint the intercessor space wolves
I have! here you go! czcams.com/video/oVY7IdnqJ38/video.html
