My formula of the good boat. If you wanna use it for decades, not for months.
    1. The PVC must be enforced by PVC mash. Otherwise, small and bigger punctures would happened, and it is nearly impossible to fix them with the glue.
    2. Boston (or similar) quick deflation valves must be on all chambers. On my Seahawk- II I simply open them, and in 10 min my boat is completely deflated and is ready to be packed into the box.
    3. Hard removable (better- foldable) floor is necessary; the inflatable floor does not have quick deflation valves and it is the real headache to deflate it. The reverse pumping does not really help. I use the floor from Mariner- 3, identical with the size and have no problem.
    4. Good oar joints are necessary (used on Seahawk II, Mariner- 3 and 4 are really good). Unlike French oars, which are not really functional.
    5. Horseshoe shaped boats are much convenient, if you are going to use a motor. Removable transom takes as a least 10 min to assemble. The transom wheels may be attached to the stationary transom of the horseshoe shaped boat and will make the boat lunching much easier. But such boat is twice in price, than oval shaped one.
    6. Good sits are in assess.
On my opinion, the best budget boats are Mariner- 3 and 4, depends on size you need.

You're paying a premium for the pontoon boat that immediately cuts versatility as boat by half. For just the price of it, you can get a non-branded inflatable with hard floor and 5 to 6hp outboard. Had a 10ft Zodiac with a 5hp motor and even with 2 adults and gear, I was still able to plane across the lake.
