Strasbourg : Unwanted Adventure in France!

This jewel of a town will be somewhat tarnished by our experience. That city had nothing to do with it, but two of our fellow tourists did.
But now with time, the wonders of the town shine, and we were very glad to experience that. The video gives a taste of what is there, unfortunately it was cold and rainy for us. (How much prettier it could have been!)
We are grateful for the local guide who gave us a cursory tour of the main city and opened our eyes to new information. And then her tidbits of the famous 'Le Petit France' was interesting.
From this experience I learned that the French can be very kind and helpful. The construction workers could have dismissed us, but they did not. And likewise, we could have ignored the nervous tourists who were in need. All of us did the right thing and it worked out well.
It was not a life or death situation, far from it. But it was not expected on our vacation. Being from Southern California, we don't experience the real cold weather. I could see how we got desperate as we really wanted to warm up.
And this story has been quite amusing to some we have told it to. Trying not to over dramatize this event but the story is real and the facts are as close as I remember.
