Well curry my favorite player still in the league and only behind iversen kobe and mj, but he just didn't earn it last year. Kiddie Poole Boy should've had a 10th of the min in the playoffs and thats mostly on Kerr. But Jokic was waaaaaaayyyyy more valuable than curry in the playoffs and that's just facts. Jamal Murray has the same problem De'aAron Fox has. They don't average 35 points/game and have 50-60 point games in the regular season so the casual majority don't see them as that good even though they pick up the slack of the "star player".

Your right except when comparing it to dearron. Fox IS the star on his team and put up the games to show it. Fox has a lower overall than he should because his skills don't translate to attributes very well kind of like Mason plumlee, demar derogatory, and Tyler herro
Problem is 2k devs tend to base ratings off popularity of player and how known they are by casual fans.
2K player ratings should be based on performance from the previous season. These 2K devs are bums just like Klay said then they will charge you full price for the game every year for all these crap. Not buying this TRASH. Hahaha.

Cmon its not honest to compare Kobe to Murray's numbers when this era's numbers are heavily inflated by the quick style of play. You have to take the league averages and compare it to the player's to get the real performance value of a player
I was looking for this. This guy has a narrow minded analysis of the comparison he made. Kobe put those numbers up in one of the slowest paces in league history, while todays game is one of the fastest.
Maybe not Kobe level but having him on the same level as Paull Bnachero a lil crazy.

I'll do you one better: Jamal averaged those numbers on nearly 50/40/90 splits which puts him at historical level. To top it all off he was a #2 on the team that won it all. He quite literally put FMVP stats
Jamal Murray is 2nd to Jokic, without him they can't be Champs.. Kobe's number is just a comparison to Murray. He should be at least 94+ Total and that makes it fair

I think Jamal Murray definitely deserves to be in the 87-89 range, I see where Klay is coming from and I somewhat agree with him, but I think he should be like an 89 or 90. Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller and Wemby are all WAY to high (coming from a Spurs fan).

I agree with that range. That is what he is. Solid player on a very good team. Players in the 90's need to be capable of being the best player on a playoff team. I don't think he is capable of doing that.

What's lacking in the Jamal vs Kobe comparison is pace, the 2010 Finals saw the Celtics and Lakers finish with the 13th/14th slowest paces by a team in the finals ever respectively. The Lakers had an 85.39 Pace and Kobe accounted for 34% of LA's points in the series, vs Jamal whose team had a 90.6 pace and saw Jamal account for 24% of his teams total points in the series. Both are impressive, but one is significantly better
Edit: Also had to mention, Lakers played the 10 Celtics, who were ranked 5th with a 103.8 DRTG, the 23 Heat were ranked 9th with a 113.3 DRTG. And to your point on him deserving to be a 90, no. The game is already overinflated with 88+ overalls, especially 90+ overalls. we don't need more.
