Brilliant 🙂 ive seen wood lasers in operation and it always smells like a bonfire, because the wood gets burnt to cut it.
I take my hat off to these guys doing such great work in such a confined space.
Thank you for making these documentaries, most enjoyable to see behind the scenes … such a talented group of guys. Incredible skills, hats off and respect. 🙏 (looks like a.i. will be an absolute boon for Phil)
So, so good to watch. I chuckled to myself at 56:54, Pete looks at camera, we know what your thinking Pete! 😉😁
Loved the final parts of the last 2 episodes, seeing both Phil and Dave's workshops. Really interesting and highly skilled chaps
Well done Phil..wish more people today used their brain like you Lad.
Pete please get everyone involved with this project, in front of the flight cases pre going to MK for a Pink Floyd style tour photo(s) that would be awsome.. On a serious note have just booked my GETS tickets to come and see your creations in the flesh.. have followed it from Making Tracks 1 and you and the team just keep blowing me away..
That was the quickest hour and three-quarters I've watched, went by in no time! Brilliant.
brillant insight into the talent/skill and hard work that is involved in making ,Making Tracks 3👍
Really appreciate you taking the time to show us all what goes into building these layouts. Many thanks.

This is on another level Pete and guys
So interesting for all modellers, love the work these guy do 👍
Nice to hear that you have built a train set. Fantastic stuff. The kids will enjoy that. Also technology is getting smaller faster and more intelligent.
Really intrigued with the segment on Phil's laser cutting processes, good to see how things happen behind the scenes for what is being put on the baseboards!
Wow just beautiful
Absolutely fantastic amazing detail 👏👏👏
Looking good, will have to see it in Chester
Love the 'workshop humour'! Great craic.
Strong 'Phoenix Nights' vibe in the tea break.
I like your thinking, of using a surface that needs to me cleaned to use what's underneath. You should patent that idea, lol.
its a sign of rain when the cows lie down
I watch Chandwell N gauge model railways, Micheals detail is equail to to this adventure! but both admire very much admoreation on detail and skill on building
very nice.i am just starting a gauge1 layout in my loft.
He would get FREE advertising!!!😂😂😂
Super video Dave love the arguments and banter..The station is looking awesome now cannot wait to see it at Chester Cathedral. Top marks to all involved . Will it be shown with MT1 & MT2 apart from Milton Keynes. 🤞
Looking forward to seeing the finished article with baited breath..
May I suggest putting the morning tea biscuits in a open container , looks like a lot of work to get them out of the packet and then try and fold the end over every time .

So you solder your catenary. Does that mean the electric units and locos take power off of the electric overhead wires, or are they soldered to look more realistic, or is it because solder wire is more durable/flexible than another alternative?
Its part of the custom built tensioning system that is being slodered up using 6mm brass 'U' section and 4mm brass tube
eadily available from B&Q, its basically an adjustable McPherson Strut and Its quite robust as it provides a lot of mechanical and equal pulling force at both ends of each overhead wire run. There are 2 wire runs on each line which overlap each other at certain points as per prototype.
I bought the avanti class 390 in the pride livery, its so cool
Pete, Enterprise hire vans to over 70's, I know I have hired from them and I am 75, Peter.
I never heard of that. I am same age and was employed to drive vans by an agency. No body said anything.
@@johnjephcote7636 John, I got refused by a lot of hire companies I had used in the past once I hit 70, they would be happy to hire to me but their insurance companies don't want over 70's. Enterprise do allow over 70's, I was hiring Luton tail lift vans.
Just needs some figures ?
Who says you cant hire a van over 70 ?
Minor observation on the rather racist reference to Japanese soldiers. Perhaps beep out that bit of sound track, the Japanese since WW2 have had pacifism specifically written into their constitution.
God that pride train is disgusting.
