My F100 Gets a New Seat!

- I was finally able to find a solution to my destroyed seat issue. Recently Sam and I had gone down to a junkyard and ripped the seat out of a 75 f250 that happened to be a perfect fit for my 71! So now temporarily until I go to buckets I've got a nice bench!

You should keep the “original” look to it with the bench seat

Id like to see the brown bench seat in for awhile. I think it looks good with the white paint of the truck. Also if you think you have a height problem im 6'4" and have to slouch in almost everything. My '77 F150 and my '83 F150 i gotta slouch
+Neal Murray dang man I’m sorry for the fitting issue. I’m sure you can get a seat back if you don’t have a gas tank there. I want to keep the seat as well but I feel like my five speed shifter will hit it because that trans is so long. But we’ll see

A while back my local junkyard had a 50% off weekend (they do it like every holiday weekend), ended up pulling a blue bench seat out of I want to say like a 86' (?) Ford, hoping it'd fit in my j10. Rip, it's about 4" too wide for my cab. Oh well, got a mint blue bench seat for $15, gonna slap some stands on it and back it a "couch"

I personally don't like one person seats in old trucks. You can always have your girl close to you while you drive. Otherwise she feels so far away haha.

I personaly like the bench seat . But if you put bucket seats in it I would keep the bench seat in the garage so if you want to put it back in the truck you could.

Plus if you get buckets then there’s always the possibility that you’d only have two seats instead of 3
Use the seat brackets from your green seat and the seat will be lower

Is it me or are all the seat bolts in these trucks always a pain in the ass no matter how many times you take them out and put them back in

I didn't realize the gas tank is directly behind the seat, giving you no space to store anything back there!

Don't put buckets make a roll cage and put 5 point harnesses in it but no bucket seats

You should get seat out of a 1995 f150 with the center part that folds down they are super comfy

Cool I know many Ford truck seats do what year ends the same bolt pattern so I can search the bone yards for that year ......such as up to 97 it changed or ????

You can paint a seat ....they sell vinyl paint dupli color vinyl paint pep boys has it clean it with alcohol the use adhesion promoter first wait5/10 min then spray paint the seat it will look original I did it to my Harley seat ...10/15 bucks paint it Black .......

I'm looking for a good bucket/bench seat for my 77 c20. I did some searching and shop4seats.com has some really nice ones. They have a lot of options like high-back or low-back and tons of color combos 40-20-40 seats. 40% seat/20% flip console/40% seat. They're brand new so they are expensive but I'm looking to get one. The new seat looks nice though for the f100!
