Hi, any idea if this would work in a swag light?
I don't think so, the rotation of the blades would most like cause the swag to sway. I think you'd get best results in a fixed socket
Any idea why my remote stopped working , haven’t even had it a mouth yet , you push the the button and the red light comes on but will not turn light or fan on
I'm really not sure without being there but I'd first suggest making sure your light switch is on.
Next I would pull the batteries from the remote and see if that resets it.
Next I would remove the fan from the socket and see if that resets it.
If there is no change then maybe you have a defective remote that needs replaced

Is there anyway to turn off the loud beep when starting the fan?

@@Parakeetplaysadoptme yea it’s really loud and happens when you start the fan and adjust the speed. It’s damn near a smoke alarm test in person. My dog doesn’t like it and at night it’s enough to wake neighbors upstairs. It’s a nice fan but it’s such a huge oversight on their part. There’s absolutely no reason for it and to not be able to disable it is asinine.
Is this better than the Bell & Howell fanlight?
I've not used the BH fanlight so I can't answer that question accurately
