I started playing when Elsweyr released, and made my main a necro. Have nerve damage in my hands, so the playstyle over the years has been rough. Most complicated rotations for very little DPS. Was envious of Sorc's with their one bar lazy heavy attack builds, but never wanted to abandon my main.
I went from dismayed at the U41 changes, to loving them. This build is everything I always wanted, finding myself praying they leave grave lord's sacrifice right where it is now. Thanks so much for giving my hands some relief lol
I've never been able to put together a decent Necro build and now this one is on par with my best Sorc. From zero to hero quite literally. Thank you so much!
Hey Minotaur, I hope you see this comment. It’s just an idea and I think it would help new players, normally when you do your builds you have maxed cp, and honestly most of your viewers are probably around 1000. I thought it would be helpful if you lower the cp that way we can have a more reasonable idea of the damage we would be doing. Maybe you could even show 2 or 3 clips of different cp levels for different viewers. It’s just an idea and it may not be worth it but I thought I’d leave a comment. Love your builds and videos, Bowzerker stamina warden is fun to play!
Yeah, I barely have 160cp and I am looking for a build to get settled into to work on. MOST of these builds are assuming you have max and people LOOKING for a build often have a fraction of max.
Hell yeah. I'm always looking to see where my damage is supposed to be at. I'm only around 720 CP and have no idea what I'm supposed to be hitting. I parse on a normal dummy between 23k to 30k. It depends how often my frags proc and if I mess up LA weaving. I'm used to playing Madden and 2k. Never played MMOs until wow 2 years ago. Just got on ESO in November and been using the fk outta experience scrolls to try and get my CP up 😂😂😂.. IDK if it even effects it or not cuz i pet the enlighten thing every time i play lol

Thank you sir! I’ve wanted to get good at solo content and this definitely gave me what I needed. Finally upgrading to a PS5 and this have given me a fresh breath of life for the game again.

So I couldn't wait for update 41 and I spent yesterday setting this up and even right now it is extremely strong. I can't wait for the update and gravelord sacrifice, oh one difference though. I'm using storm Master on the body

I had a few incredible easy builds thanks to you, like the necromancer with a set that healed when using ground AOE, leaving ice on the floor it got double healing or whatever.
But another incredibly easy build was inspired by you but i added some of my ideas back then, and i kinda wish u make another video about it.
It's the dragonknight heavy attack build.I used the maelstrom lightning staff, its AOE walk or whatever increased heavy attack dmg, plus the dragonknight had a cheat passive increasing heavy attacks.Bro i even pvp with that build takin many guys by surpprise killing them with heavy attack!!!I've ran vet arenas and dungeons with it dealing insane damage whith one easiest bar ever!no need for high magika recovery because only using 2-3 skills plus heavy attack.
Anyway, i never thought about using the sergeant set or whatever in that build ,can you trie it out?with the maelstrom staff and everything i bet its insane
For more dps in group content would you add archer and detonating siphon?
Also sergeant with deadly strike? To boost lightning staff, graveyard and siphon further?
Hey Hack, long time follower, great videos/content, love it all! Question, how would replacing sergeants with way of the fire set? I'm no meta tester or build specialist but, it "Seems" to me you would get WAY more overall DPS at a quicker pace than stacking and staying in stacks using Sgt's, thoughts or opinion? Have you ever glossed over or tested that set in combination with say storm masters or something similar? Thanks and look forward to hearing back.
Sergeants and Pillar of Nirn decent for ranged set up. Also went max stam to keep up scythe and sta for mechanics. Plenty mag sustain off heavy attacks. Play a stamcro like a magcro.
That’s changing your armor to medium instead of light. And your magic heavy attacks are gonna suck if you instead max the stam attribute. No way this is good
They changed how damage is calculated. Max sta and a staff works fine now. Medium armor bonuses are fine also as long as you have pen covered.

can we storm master medium armor on the body pieces instead of noble duelist ? ( 5 medium and 1 heavy piece not single light )
Is it possible to get a mag necromancer high DPS build that doesn't involve the Oakensoul ring? I'm trying to figure out how to make my necromancer do crazy damage in a PVE. Group. Every time I look for a high DPS bill it includes the oakensoul.
I dropped boneyard and added Ricochet Skull for trash clears in dungeons also adding Burning. It’s been interesting.
Has anyone done a dps test with it what did you get?
Somehow I can’t stop thinking about flame skull should be integrated into this build especially with the grave lord’s sacrifice what do people think
i started doing so many more one bar builds...its so comfy...i just wished there were more options than the ever same set up... they could for example improve the heavy attack damage of 2handed weapons that its on pair with lightning
I watched this video a while ago and farmed oakensoul to try this build. After trying it for a while and soloing my 1st veteran dungeon with it, I had to come back and leave a comment because Ive never been more satisfied with a build that I got from CZcams. Thanks so much for this!
The only thing I changed, is that I use the magicka version of Hungry Scythe instead of the stamina version. Though the off-balance is useful for a few seconds at a time, I find that I dont have the stamina to spam it when I need it most for health. (Im a breton btw). And because this build has so much magicka that it barely uses, I found it significantly easier to sustain with the magicka scythe.
I also switched to the stamina Blast Bones. 1 because I think its cooler, 2 because it BARELY costs any stamina, and 3 because it gives burst AOE Damage to compliment the Heavy attack for large groups. Because this build focusses on the heavy attack, I just dont feel that the magicka blastbones is much of a benefit.
Im no expert though, those are just the modifications that i have found useful for myself. But I thank you because I went from being ready to give up on my necro to this being my most used build. Plus I’m always getting compliments on my damage output and because its a 1 bar build, I have extra skill points for crafting and such. Again, thank you!!

I'm thinking "Noble Duelis't Silk" to go with the Seargents. I will try and get that in jewelry/ weapons 4/5 slots. It should complement those heavy attacks even more. I need to get my necro to 50. I generally only use him for trade skills, but this build doesn't seem to require much skill, so I can learn as I go.

Does noble duelist also proc on the 1st and 2nd ticks of the heavy attack rather than just the final tick? I couldn't tell while watching video. If not, however, and it instead only procs on the final tick of the heavy attack, I feel like another set would be MUCH more beneficial in it's place. An extra 2k on the final tick of a 30,000+ crit is almost negligible whereas, for example, you could run something like mother's sorrow for more crit or, possibly even better, something like orders wrath which would give you a flat increase on all your crit dmg. 8% of 30,000 would be 2400, for example.
What would you recommend instead of noble duelist I’m swaying toward orders wrath

From the healy ghost. You don’t have to wait for it to end for generate a corpse, you can cast it early to make a corpse. So go in, recast healy ghost, siphon.

Il go with max stam on this build. Outside HA your main spamable cost stam. Also stam helps with blocking and rolldodging. +if you are stamina race you will get max benefit of it. I dont see why you go max mag on this build. Do i miss smth ?
Does anyone got a good Stam Necro build for an orc, I’ve been looking for what pieces would be viable?
Was running Nirn/orders/oaken velidreth 1pc. Ruinous, avid boneyard(solo) blighted blastbones, detonation siphon, rending slashes, colossal. Was getting roughly the same dps with a bit more work.
This looks like it will be as fun as Blood Knight was for NB.
Went with srgs and unfalable darkness to match the theme on my crow murder crows are funny
Can someone tell me why I don’t have the new gravelords sacrifice I still have stalking blastbones I’m confused?
Consoles get the U41 patch late, it's because of Sony and Xbox's update requirements. They require certification of all patches before they allow them to go out, so it adds ~2 weeks minimum to any updates. This goes for all games.
I was going to try this filled out, but why do I not have sacrificial bone?

Why not use Deadly Strike? Since the necro is getting a buff to damage over time effects? Sacaficial bones give 15%? Plus, the passive from the skill line(Rapid Rot 10%) and the CP(Thaumaturge) 6% and 15% from Deadly Strike... thats 46% in total extra damage. And you forgot about the exploiter CP... it gives an extra 10% more damage to targets that are off balance. Would this not be a good setup? Alongside a set of heavy attack gear?

Can you tell me how do you sustain your stamina with this? Im using the scythe to heal but it drains my stamina so fast, and there is no regen like i dont even regen from heavy attacks, i end up having unlimited magicka but i dont even have to use the magicka skills a lot
Try adding one stamina recovery glyph to jewelry, or absorb stamina to weapon glyph, you can also use stamina potions. plus bloody renewal CP star
Use the necro heal skill instead got hm done in the couldren because of it

This is the setup I'm currently running, I had all stickerbook full for Deadly from PvP and got like 7 pieces of Sergeant's in two runs. Running Sergeant's on most of the body and deadly weapons (not by choice, just what I had). Even lacking the pen and crit chance from light armor, this build boosted by DPS by a ton. Really loving it. Went with Lady Malygda head for the pen.
I went from mad about U41 to super happy, was always envious of Sorc's and their heavy attack builds. Now I'm mouse-1ing with the best of them lol

Are you running this exact gear set? I have mostly heavy armor on, went sergeant's/Deadly, less pen but more survival.
I advise always keep your armor potions going on cooldown. It's probably not "meta", but I also use the Reaving Blows Warfare CP point passive. I find the self heal helps a lot when running a onebar. Can also pop your colossus ulti for some burst healing if you're using it.
Has it been changed again or are the changes coming to ps5 at one point? I don't have the gravelords sacrifice on here.
It's coming March 26th in Update 41 for consoles.

Recently tried making my own from scratch before watching this, found that the wraith HoT isn't as reliable in group content. It jumps to random players all over the place. And not on you. Would be nicer if they had a solo morph for it.

I am new and slowly learning how things work here but I don’t understand why this can’t also be a stamina build since half the skills are Stam based. If you switch skeletal árcanist to archer then 3/5 skills will be stamina. I’m asking because I have a Orc Necro I started and I’d like to make this work! Can anyone give feedback on this?
The main thing for this build is the weapon. Since it is a destruction staff it restores magicka when you heavy attack, giving you infinite magic sustain. So it will be easier to sustain those magic abilities. Yes, you CAN put all of your attributes into STamina instead but it will be a bit more difficult to sustain, and that magic restore would be useless. Also Orc is fine in either case.

Agreed
sergeants is one of the, if not, the best set for oakensoul 1 bar heavy attack builds since youre pretty limited in your abilities. These builds revolve around the idea that, rather than using something like scythe for your spammable, your heavy is now your spammable. Sergeants is the best set in the game for increasing heavy attack dmg so it makes sense as to why you see it in almost all of these builds. Noble duelist, however, I feel could be replaced by a plethora of other sets as I am not sure that noble procs on anything other than the final tick of a heavy attack which is only 2100 dmg added to 30,000. Even if it did proc on all 3 ticks, its still only 6300 dmg. I think many people get to caught up with the base idea of "increase heavy attack dmg" when creating these builds when there are other ways to drastically increase your dmg even on your heavies. I mentioned orders wrath, which, rather than only adding 2100 to that final tick of the heavy, would instead add 8% to all outgoing crit dmg. Mother's sorrow is also always a great set for any build as you can never have to much crit aside from surpassing the cap, which is very hard to do.
@@Dunny-vg7mt like ye i have a heavy sorc and sergeant build in armory if i need it, but theirs something about knowing what the entire group is wearing in certain scenerios for me🤷♂️ that said i cant even remember the last time i ran my sorc outside of pvp, Arcanist came out my bird went to sleep and now ima book witch😅
@@adriennefyrestorme For sure, I understand that. The good thing about running oakensoul though is that you don't have to rely on what the group is running since it gives you almost every buff. All you have to worry about after that are debuffs which is alot easier to manage for newer players or players who just want to chill lol. And yeah, I made an arcanist but haven't delved into it yet. But, from what I have seen, I probably should as they seem VERY strong. I was tanking a dungeon earlier today and there was a cp 2100 player running an arcanist. Some of the highest dps output I have ever seen. I dont even know enough about them to know if he was running mag or stam lol all I know is stuff was dying VERY fast and it was his dmg that was doing the majority. I'm definitely doing to lvl mine up and get it going.

Takes about 2 extra weeks for updates to get pushed to consoles. Microsoft and Sony have extra certification processes they have to submit to before devs can update games on consoles.
