A big thanks to the awesome crew at the Gravity Discovery Centre in Gingin for letting us use their 45m leaning tower for our own experiments. If you wanna head out there and check it out, it's not far from Perth. Western Australia: gravitycentre.com.au/leaning-...

PLEASE make REXY a mecha suit. Literally "encapsulate" him in solid steel metal armour suit. (like bruce style) so he can finally start dealing damage instead of taking. He needs revenge. Time to put Rexy on the offense.

Yes. But were they on the bell?
Stanford should’ve catched the watermelon but I know he’s got a pretty big watermelon himself if he was attempt to catch it probably would hit his head
I love how the first wubble bubble scooted off behind the tire like some kind of groundhog running back to its hole.❤
here's a question worth asking: of all the videos you've done with the tower.
how many steps in total have you taken individually up the tower?
That's a good question lol.
Please get the exercise ball linexed!! That would be sick
yeah
Does the linex deform enough so that the exercise ball would still be useable? If not it will break.
@@MyRegardsToTheDodo I'm more worried it wouldn't let them deflate the ball for easy transport.
Seems like another mark rober collaboration
@@andrewoneill7453 yes.
Weird seeing the Wubble Bubble crawl across the sand into the corner like a weird living thing. 😯😯
Yeah weird, reminded me of a facehugger. It would be cool to get high speed footage of it rolling at speed, maybe down a slide from the tower
i was thinking the same thing.
I was thinking if slimes where a thing that's what they would look like.
looked like venom!!!!
@@technic550 Almost as weird as hearing them trying to say wubble bubble.
My favorite slowie of all time, but the shot from the slight down angle from the tower. Great idea with the powder!
13:11 couldn’t time that much better 😂 it was actually like the add was just in real life 😂
14:05 did anyone else think for a second that the footage rewound? It looked like it started playing in reverse
Yeah, this's exactly what I saw at first!
i agree, i seriously thought some sort of post production was applied to that whole bounce
That shot was super cool! also, does anyone know the music that plays at 13:55?
You’re over inflating Big Red. He’s got to have a little extra room to stretch for the heavier items to bounce.
Yeah, and dug the hole too deep. Fun vid tho, excellence slowy at the end
i think that the heavy items _are_ using _all_ the room - it stretches so far that it impacts the bottom, which causes it to break.
if anything they need to inflate it more, it should be inflated so that it the item stops _just_ before it touches the bottom.
@@isays it’s an over inflation issue. It isn’t touching the ground before the ball bursts. It’s stretching the ball beyond its maximum stretch point causing it to tear. Less air would give more room to stretch/compress before bursting.
@@Travis7109 idk... at 14:24 it _really_ looks like it made it all the way to the ground, and then the contact with the material on the other side tore it open.
its hard to tell due to all the powder paint, but it looks like the tear started from right under the ball. Its a lot like the 10:29 mark of their video "Bowling Ball Vs. GIANT 6ft Exercise Ball from 45m! (Huge Bounce)", where the ball went all the way to the bottom and caused the burst.
14:13 "The superlaser hasn't yet charged. We'll just have to ram Alderaan instead."
The properties of the wubble bubble on impact is an impressive display of physics. Really a great idea. You guys need to do more stuff with those things!!
This whole channel is the epitome of what "boys will be boys" should really mean.
"Epitome" doesn't mean what you think it means. Try "pinnacle" or "personification".
@@Jivvi no, it works here. This is the "perfect example of" what it should really mean
Jivan Scarano, epitome does work here, but personification doesn’t. Personification doesn’t mean what you think it does😂
Epitome: a person or thing that is a perfect example
Personification: the attribution of human characteristics to something nonhuman
@@Jivvi What I have said has conveyed what I meant to say precisely. But I simply have to add, the confidence one must have to wrongly correct someone's wording on the internet, with Merriam-Webster at the tips of your fingers, is a sight to behold. Combined with the uncontrollable urge to misquote "Princess Bride" -- boy, that would be an opportunity to drop a "um, actually..." impossible to resist. Remarkable. My compliments to you, sir. Well done.
@@NexusNoxCS That response was awesome. :D
Your slow motion game has dramatically improved over the years, gents. Hats off to you and all of your success this far.
Soon will be taking over slow mo guys😂
Right
They got the money to afford it with the price they charge for merch
lol that's called hiring people.. should the "boys" see this.. idea: pool noodles. or plumbing foam insulators to cover the fence tips during filming to shield from popping balls and stuff
Thus
Paint powder should have been laid down in lines like a rainbow for that last pop! That would have been insane.
it’s mental that the largest one is only 90kg and that size when a person has lifted a 286kg one of those off the floor and over a bar. puts strongmen into perspective
14:12 Looks like the DeathStar dropping in! LOL
the water wubble bubble ball look like alien creatures moving around, would love to see more with those
Came here just to say this. That first one scampered off into the corner like a startled critter. That second one... Well they shot their shot but Australia has enough invasive species
Omg they were my childhood
It seemed to move so un-naturally fast and strangely that I almost swore that was CGI. 😁
They look like the symbiotes from venom tbh
Yes more video on them flying away in slow motion would be cool to see
I loved the way the powder colour was left behind in mid air during the initial impact. Great slo mo.
The dust cloud was such a great idea! Looked awesome!
@12:38 Heron was definitely #Poptrain LOL 😂
The wobble bubble “running” to hide behind the tyre reminded me of flubber ! 😂 😂 I had to replay it over just pmsl 🤣
I’ve watched a few of these,… that was definitely one of the more satisfying slow mo’s. 🤘
Those last couple shots were a some of the coolest looking slow mo shots I have ever seen!
The Phantom is a milestone for sure. Congrats guys!!
The total distance of all 9 the items was 1,582 meters or 879 Brett Stanfords

Rexy: Sticks and atlas stones may break these bones but words will never hurt me. Next video,” dropping worlds largest dictionary”.
I'd love to watch that.
Sticks and stones were his bones at one point!
Dude that would be a sick video if the guys at How Ridiculous actually get the worlds largest dictionary and drop it from the tower
So close..
Haha
Those slowies make it all worthwhile -- At least Big Red went out with a tremendous bang!!
Not only did Brett middle the first watermelon, it also hit Maxwell on the way down from the bounce.
4:40 beginning of actual drops (test drop)
6:01 first sack
7:29 second sack
10:04 watermelon
12:58 small atlas
...... nothing else because obviously an atlas stone of any size will decimate a rubber ball of air
dont tell them!
Water would've also ruptured out of it.
Props on Brett for trying to smooth out the stone to give it the best possible chance to bounce, and also on the boys for providing a discount despite not being able to bounce any Atlas stones. Men of their word.
Hi first
Not really men of their word because they gave the discount without bouncing the stones but ok
Better than men of their word! They under-promised (ironically, somehow) and over-delivered.
Gounson's artistic effort really paid off!
This is the most ridiculous video. Had me laughing the ENTIRE time lol I love the wobble theme going on haha
14:17. the atlas stone looked like the death star. which it was, as it turns out.
Who else thinks they should have overlayed Herron's toot sound to the dust cloud?
Like the fart gun from Despicable Me
@13:05 Awwwww
It would be so cool to see behind the scenes reactions of these like when you are editing
8:23 - Gaunson's pitch was 'perfect', a word which here means 'untouched by either object it was being aimed at'.
Edit: I stand corrected, big red got Rexy on the rebound.
I would say that was even better. With the speed of rexy it wouldnt have been able to remain untouched by big red if it was in its path.
Wait... scott and derrick were actually correct on the wubble bubble "neither" call
The most astounding part of this video is the most unlikely call turned out to be completely correct
That powder slowie was one of the best slowies i have ever seen
Use braided fishing line for less bounce on the drop camera. Has less stretch in it
1582 meters
How to meter a metre.

"Oh that's a *massive* loss" love the way he says that it reminds me of an actual commercial
Best phantom moment ever was the wobble & the pitch do those things again!!!
I loved how the powder suspended in air as the exercise ball smooshed. 🥰
I love how Rexy flew into the void the wubble bubble created then was still airborne when it the ball decompressed and launched him.
What?
I love it when you guys make these kinds of vids: when it's as simple as chucking things off the tower, banter between friends, and watching the slowies 😍 Also the Phantom was one of the best purchases you guys have made. Great job boys! #GetGaunsonHisKFC
That last slow-mo was incredible. Great job 👏👏👏😎
Your guy’s interlude music is always on point, but it absolutely slaps in this vid. Who makes these tracks for you? Asking as producer lol.

I wish they thought of this back when the xliv shirts were still a thing. I kinda loved that design.
Has to ne one of the best slow motions! That last one was amazing
How durable is a Line-X coated exercise ball? Can you fill an exercise ball with water, coated in Line-X, then have it survive the fall from the tower?
4:00-4:04 LOL Good one Ruthie!
5:36-5:43 LMFAO

All nine items were hit 1582m in total!
This was a great video, I loved seeing the "Wubbebubble" thing falling, it looked like an alien jellyfish. Thanks! 🧡💙💜
P.S. You should put one camera on each level of the tower and stitch together the footage to get one really tall shot of the whole drop.
you were correct, but they didn’t pin ya 😢
So just say willpinya in the comments
Another great vid! The dry paint on Big Red was inspired. It made for a really cool ending.
Dude when it popped with the dust it was so freaking satisfying! Honestly, it looks like a volcano erupting.
Derek is on fire for the 2021 rock offs
Great episode guys!
I agree the tower is great, any chance of some new trips to the dam?
The Effort and look on Herron's Face when he Floated an Air Biscuit was just Priceless!!!
14:14 A gorgeous demonstration of physics.
That smoke effect looked awesome when the ball dropped
*Thump* "...aw."

"We have Phantom for these kind of moments".... that's a great line!
1:02 Thank you Stanford, as an American I immediate reached for my phone before you converted kilograms to pounds lol
And even with big red sacrifice to the stone that paint cloud was amazing
Video starts at 13:00
God bless u
That last one was so cool: like an implosion to explosion of the most colorful volcano
It looked like a colourful nuke
The wobble in slowmo was so satisfying to watch this made my boring day at work much better
I mean, could that watermelon drop have gone more perfectly? That slowey was amazing.
You need a stronger ball! I want to see all the atlas stones bounce. That would be a good job for Mark Rober.
That last shot is some of the most beautiful Phantom footage I've ever seen. A for effort boys!
👨💻👨💻👨💼🖕
I almost forgot its winter for yall atm also I was kinda expecting thay ending tbh XD its a bloody atkas stone vs a rubber ball inflated with air
I accidentally tripped over this site and find it hysterical. I also wanted to say that the photography and the editing are very impressive. I have a theory of why there are so many flies. Could it be possibly caused by all of the exploding watermelons?
Who else is praying for the 90 bounce? 😂🤑
sadly, if the 90 did bounce, I expect they'd have edited the offer out....
@@ronpeacock9939 I doubt they would do that.
@@nervoussips2622 I know they're crazy... but not that crazy... 90% off would have them giving the stuff away for pennies on the dollar (or whatever the Aussie unit of money is)... of what they spent for it... gotta make a profit to keep us in videos...
@@ronpeacock9939 they are pretty charitable people. Plus they could just limit the sale.
Nope. Nothing to pray to
Scott, that was a glorious Rexy pitch! Truly one for the books.
Hey @How Ridiculous , for next time you have the big exercise ball, or anything that might pop if bounced on the fence, you could buy a few pool noodles or AC line insulation and place them horizontaly on the spikes of the fence . Great vid!
I loved the first Rubber Bubble ... it was like a creature from a fantasy RPG game ... you know? Those Slime thingys that often are the first enemys in such games... it really reminded me on those ^^
That cloud at the end was absolute magic, and that deal made me finally pony up for some merch. Cheers!
I love this physics action.
Put corks on fence for future projects that way more fun
Standford not wearing fall protection gear at 3:50 made me nervous lol

It's pretty interesting how you can actually see the gas shockwave in the ball at 10:38, as it heads towards the ground is reflected up and only then does the watermelon head back up again.
I have to say that was a pretty good pitch spot on
That was an absolute rollercoaster. All worth it for that last footage though, that was insane
The powder was a great addition! If you bring back the big red series, I say always add Bruce’s artwork!
Ah man, so bummed I never saw this and missed the discount on the merch!
Coolest selection of slowies to date!
8:33 Rexy:weeeee
to put this channel in simple words it is aussies having fun with cool stuff and a tower (and sometimes with other things other than the tower)
look at the shockwave in the megaball when the watermelon hits it that's pretty cool.
When the atlas stone hit big red, that's exactly what happened in those drawlz when that " toot " went off 😂
