by concluding the series i ccan say that Rafale is a better suited for escorting the Su-30 MKI for strike missions and it can be used for air superiority also
Imagine being an air superiority fighter designed to escort other jets / destroy aerial targets effortlessly only to get escorted by a french samosa

Sukhoi and Rafale both are good but i seriously feel that Rafale is an omni-role aircraft. It can be optimized for visual range applications and also we could make a lot of upgrades with Rafale-F3 and F4 versions, compared to Sukhoi-Su30MKI. So i feel we should go with Rafale.
I will repeat my words which i commented in your part 1 video that SU-30mki is a perfect platform.The only edge that Rafael has over SU-30mki is it's Spectra electronic warfare system.Again nice analysis
As defence matrix said Su30 is better when comes to anti ship and anti surface roles… with the Russian Kh series of missiles. So how Kh series of missiles are in comparison of Rafael Exocet and scalp in terms of technology, accuracy , etc.
the SUKHOI Su-30 MKI multi role heavy all weather fighter in air-to-ground missions should be armed with guided munitions only . . . such as JDAM 1000 & JDAM 500 or Spice 2000E based on mission priorities & objectives . . . the Dassault Rafale F4-R multi role interdictor strike fighter can be armed with GBU-12 Paveway IV guided munitions that incorporates a 500 lbs Mk 82 deep penetration warhead . . . or the GBU-24 Paveway III for that matter, with a even heavier 2,000 lbs Mk84 deep penetration warhead (bunker buster) . . .
I used to think rafale had better atg capabilities, but after this video its clear.. anyway, iaf should try to integrate brahmos to rafale.. that will be deadly.

Basically SU30 is our bomb truck until we get a proper bomber. We need to acquire more AWACS, drones, refuelers n ISR capability to complement our formations. More force-multipliers to make the most of what we have.
Please make such comparison video for MRFA contenders too so that it can help IAF and MOD to take decisions ASAP

Can we have a comparison of LCA Mk1A (with UTTAM) with J10C and F16 Block 52?
For Air to Air combat.
They can't be compared. J-10C & F-16 Block 52 are Light Fighters while the Tejas lA is a Small Lightweight Point Defense Interceptor. The Tejas ll is also a Small, Lightweight Medium Range Interceptor. The Tejas simply cannot be compared to the J-10C. The F-16V Block 70 is actually Superior to the Su-30 MKI/Su-35S let alone the smaller Tejas.

In PAF operation Swift Retort our Mig 21 jets were engaged with F16 jets.
No wonder if next time Tejas Mk1A will engage with PAF J10C jets (no matter in interception mode or BVR fight)

Super sukhoi with modern glass cockpit, uttam mk2 radar, brahmos ng, astra mk2 and stealth painting will be far better than chinese new j15 BUTTTT only if they will come within 5 years.
As Su 30 MKI is great for ground attack roles, I am curious to know why Mirage 2000 were prefered for Balakote strike over SU30MKI?
Because of lesser radar cross section and low weight of attack.

Sukhoi 30 MKI is back bone of IAF and after super Sukhoi upgrade, it may dominate space again on both western and northen front. Remember, once Su 30 MKI with PESA radar, it had detected chinese J20.

@defence matrix @ durgesh singh as of now iaf rafales does not have talios targeting pod the 2015 contract does not include talios targeting pod so as of now iaf rafales do not have talios targeting pod .It is a future possibility not a present capability of iaf rafale.Iaf is using litening g-4 targeting pods on iaf rafales.
The india specific enhancement for which extra charges were included also includes integration of litening g-4 pods on rafales.This was done to have commonality of pods in the iaf .

@@DefenceMatrix The reason iaf prefers litening pod of which 164 g-4 version had been reportedly ordered from israel in 2018 over talios targeting pod is talios pod is only marginally ahead of litening pod in certain aspects but the price difference is reportedly very large and also to keep commonality among iaf fleet.
Su-30 MKI is a flying tank...
Su30 is better on Surface attack role, because we are able to integrate Israel or any weapon we wanted to, it will have better Air strike capability once we upgrade those Radar and Astra Weapons.
I see we are lacking this flexibility with Rafale, even to integrate Astra we are depending on French, this needs to be fixed and we should get complete control to upgrade on our will, if we are going to sign it under MRCA, else we will be in a bad position to depend on French for everything.

Conclusion: Su-30 mki have 4 points while D.Rafale earned 2 points in this analysis. Su-30 mki is winner in air to ground attack, reconaissance and intelligence gathering.
Suggestions if asked then : if SU-30 mki is upgraded in Sukhoi Growler then it can also beat SAAB Gripen class of aircraft which have electronic warfare capabilities, as well as super sukhoi can able to come equivalent with Dassault Rafale in terms of Air to air superiority fight or air to air attack.

All these is useless because all Israeli equipment use GPS, and at America. mercy for its jam free guidance. If Su-30 MKI so good, why does superior SU-35 is MIA against Ukraine. It’s simple, AA defense will pick up SU-30/35 hundred of miles away before it come in any range to fire its salvo. Prood is Balakot.

Can we please come to a conclusion that Western hardware are more sophisticated and usefull than cheap soviet era,products.

I was clenching my fists watching this, it's so wrong. Rafale is miles ahead of Su30MKI in A2G. And it's full of inaccuracies - Russian KAB series guided bombs are not reliable, and comparing AASM Hammers with rampage instead of bombs makes 0sense. MBDA Apache being mentioned is an obvious nonsense, it's been superseded by SCALP - which is much more effective than Brahmos - more range, stealth and low flying - impossible to intercept. Riddled with inaccuracies, laughable video. Finally, who told you Rafale has no ARM?? We specifically paid millions to integrate AGM88E, Astra, SAAW etc. I usually like your stuff but this is really pedestrian level of thinking, and clearly IAF doesn't share your reasoning.
I am sorry to break it to you but, no AGM 88E or Astra, SAAW has been integrated with Rafale till now, if you have proof please share the links to support your claim. Second, MBDA Apache and Scalp are two different category missiles, Apache is a Runway buster whereas, Scalp is a long range anti surface stealth cruise missile. Also talking about Brahmos Vs Scalp, scalp is definitely stealthy cruise missile with around 600km range, yes Brahmos has more RCS, but Brahmos can stay supersonic for whole 500km range while flying too low to the ground and being almost impossible to intercept.
If you are putting counter, please put them with facts.
Now coming to HAMMER Vs Rampage, HAMMER is not a bomb it’s a missile, which is made from a bomb, whereas Rampage is a rocket which is made more accurate through guidance system and air launched, I mentioned in the video that both are not directly comparable as both are unique to their aircraft.
@@DefenceMatrix are you serious? Because HAMMER has rocket assistance you are therefore not going to compare KAB with it? You have to look at size of the munitions being comparable. You either have KAB/Paveway/SPICE/AASM/SDB/SAAW (mainly warhead by weight, some propulsion or not) i.e. PGM class or missiles like RAMPAGE (mainly propellant, 5 fricking meters long). It's quite a reach to avoid comparing KAB with Hammer and bring out RAMPAGE instead.
@@DefenceMatrix SCALP is developed from Apache, more capable. The BROACH warhead can destroy runways too- no need was felt for subminitions because it can clear soil and form craters.
@@DefenceMatrix Brahmos Anti ship variant can fly close to the sea in terminal phase. Ground attack Brahmos does not fly low level - go look it up, you won't find it - it does a steep dive attack from 14000m. It is simply not possible, it's speed is too high to fly low over land where tight turns are required to avoid features. For 90% of its flight, it's at 14000m, can be detected from 500km, more than it's entire range away

When we know Rafale is such an amazing fighter jet why is IAF going for MRMC why don't IAF place further order for Rafale when we already have maintenance infrastructure for Rafale in india.
