A real fighter , a passionate artist , a great mentor , and a legend that I barely believe this country might ever see again . Thank you for the reaction Mace and your respect to his art and memory 🌸

If he was famous all over the world, people respect him like

In 1999, UNESCO in France presented him with the Picasso Award and in 2006 with the UNESCO Mozart Medal. In 2017, Los Angeles Times cited him as the "Greatest living maestro of Persian classical music".

First, I truly appreciate what you are doing here as far as introducing different Persian music styles to the world. Secondly, just wanted to add that the artists who emphasize their voice majorly in "dastgaah" and provide "Avaaz" style usually use ancient Persian poems from great poets like Haafez, Rumi, etc. which makes the meaningfulness of the art more significant. (may I ask for "Man 3" from "Tataloo" please?)

Thanks bro for your tributes to maestro Shajarian. I wish you knew Persian cuz some of the lyrics are sooo good to miss (along with music n vocal ofcourse). I put just one line of it here which is from Sa'di [a great Persian poet from 12 cent]
cuz i hinestly think, with all feelings youre putting for this program, you deserve to have atleast a sip of the Persian poems as well. Here we go:
"Gar bé hamé omr e khish, bä to bar äram dami,
Häsel e omr än dam ast, bäghi e ayyäm raft."
Which in English almost goes like this:
"In my whole life, if i spend just one moment with you,
The essence of my life is exactly that very moment, the rest is nothing but waste of time.
    Cheers, stay safe🙏
