Wow Iranian language sounds beautiful
Thank you ❤ It is " Persian " language or " Farsi which the true term is Parsi " 🌹
thank u
Thank's Baby 💜 you are beautifull too😁
@@lalala.helyyy2337 mercy
thanks
I am an Afghan and I speak Persian (Farsi). For those who don't speak Persian, the lyrics (poem) is from the greatest of all Persian Poets, Hafiz and beautifully done by Mohsen Namjoo. 'Zolf' which means 'Hair' is very meaningful and famous poem in Persian speaking countries. I personally getting a kind of goose bump every time I listen to this song. Not to say that have listened hundreds of times already and will never get tired of. Amazing
I sometimes wonder... was Hafiz a human? Or a god dressed as human beings to bless us...
@@knownanonymous1691 If we would have believed to Gods as Ancient Greece did, Hafiz would definitely be God of love and passion.
@@nematfrotan604 like Elios..
But the reason that Hafiz became Hafiz is that he didn't believe in any god but one and became a soufi.
So that would have been so irony😂
thanks
we are Hazara not afgan
What you have witnessed is a 700 years old poem come to life in a very modern style . Actually Namjoo is doing a great job by mixing and blending the generations together . He is one of a kind ... by the way I really liked your reaction 🌹

Here is the lyric:
Don’t let your hair with the wind blow,
Else to the wind, caution I’ll throw.
Don’t let foundations elegantly grow,
Else my foundation will dissolve and go.
Choose where you bestow thy grace,
Else I’ll wallow in disgrace.
When you are present in every place,
Every place, my protests will face.
The locks of your hair are curled like a chain,
Enslaved to those locks, in chain I remain.
When with your curls you entertain,
Your curls will only drive me insane.
Strangers do not befriend,
Else I might be lost in the trend.
Let not my rivals on you depend,
This makes me sad, and will offend.
Let your face color, your cheeks blush,
Your beauty, the rose bud, aside brush;
Let your stature rise up tall and lush,
And the tallest cedars simply crush.
Don’t become every room’s candle flame,
Else my flames of jealousy can’t tame.
Don’t treat every people the same,
So that you may not forget my name.
Don’t become known to all in this town,
Else I’ll find the ocean, myself drown.
Don’t keep me distant with your frown,
Else I’ll tear to threads my shirt and gown.
Have mercy upon me and compassion,
Else hear the infamy of my passion.
Hafiz will embrace your oppression,
Was freed since enslaved in this fashion
Oh my god you are master in translation
I'm proud of You guys!!!!!🙏❤
WOW! what a translation
One of the more elegant translation, really well done.
i guess, not the whole poem was song here, right?!
It is not Eye-ranian . It is Iranian . Like Italian not Eye-talian
Thanks for letting me know !!! 🙏❤️

Being an Iranian thousands of miles away from home, it brings tears of joy to my eyes. Thanks

Pachidaam.
I would like to suggest that you hear his song named “ Toranj “ . That’s really awesome song from him .
Toranj is highly recommended😍👌
Mohsen tells stories by his different styles and tones of singing. Listen to his tones. It is like different characters of a story. Besides, he reads poetry of Hafiz. He is an ABSOLUTE creative artist. Thank you Mace for playing such a meningful song.
Wowwww I loved it . Such a beautiful voice and great music superb performance .
You have to listent to "Arayesh Ghaliz - Homayoun Shajarian". I'm pretty sure you would like it

The meaning one part of lyric: Gone with the wind I am that blows through your lock of hair."
the poetry of Hafiz
Namjoo is singer 😐
The most beautiful thing in this video is the lyrics of that song 😂🥰 believe me I know the language
Awesome man, loved it and thank you for sharing.
I really appreciate for understanding how good is “Iranian’s original art” at music.
yeah its also mentioned in the national anthem:"your soil is the wellspring of the arts"
Buddy, you are awesome. The lyrics and the performance are phenomenal. Thanks for sharing.
Your reactions to the music melted my heart brother. You enjoying and understanding this music so deeply makes me enjoy it even more!!
Dear Mace, I find your reaction to this music the best reaction ever Ive seen. I like M. Namjoo and I follow his works to reacting people channels. Good job. I hope you are more relaxed after this 😊
It’s amazing , wow. It’s making me feel sad and same time exited
WoW,,, I felt so good when I listen to this Persian music.....Thank you, well played.
Namjoo is my favourite artist that I told my family when I die I want somone to play this song end of my funeral.
Thanks for reacting to this song 🇮🇷❤️
Great song, great lyrics, great work, thanks Mace
Last time I saw Namjoo in concert was his holistic solo with a single Setar. Now that he left Iran, he's attracting a wider range of audience by adopting a more eclectic ensemble. Either way, he's amazing in his own rights!
The lyric goes as "Don't let your flowing hair ride on winds/ As you might blow me away (out of existence)!"
Good interpretation and nicely done
درست ترین ترجمه ایست که تا بحال دیدم. زنده باد.
Great thanks I have heard this before but injoyed it more with your commentary on it
Bro I just found your channel and I love it.
I also love his hair. it's cool.
He has started new wave in persian music. Not only he is one of the best alternative musicians but also he is wonderful in choosing poems and verses
He can easily effect the listeners by the way of singing proper poetry
Excellent job well done.
You have done a magnificent job expanding on a magical piece.
Leonard Cohen of persian language indeed.
Well done man. I really enjoyed your video.
Thanks for sharing.
Bravo from SA
He is literally one of the best our singer
Cheers man I started to like your videos
Beautiful. I am Iranian & these brilliant artists bring the old lyrics from mystic Persian poets of thousand years ago back to life. I made my heart expand with love. Absolutely breath talking. Thank you.
Extraordinary, amazingly touching and beautiful.

Thank you for reacting to Namjoo. Please do more
He is a creative musician and also he has the Avangard capabilities.
In addition from my point of view he is brave to use his voice as an instrument, using different instruments in performances and mixing of different rhythms and gender.
Furthermore, if you explore in his albums, you will realize that he is following for his passion instead of many other singers which is looking for satisfaction their audience
Precious reaction to this precious song. 🎵
As a Iranian who loves Namjoo,
your reaction was very interesting!
I wish you could explain more about your feelings...
Believe or not, I’ve listened to this music over 500 times and each time is more interesting than before to me!
Love you @mohsen namjoo

He is our Bob Dylan AND our Leonard Cohen. He's a genius and an artist. This song as far as I know was dedicated to an Iranian actress whose sex tape came out and she was forced to leave the country which makes the song all the more meaningful and bittersweet.
Beautiful, beautiful music. I blast this at home and in my car...
He also has a song, called Shirin. He sings it in Kurdish language, so I don't understand what exactly he is singing except for some words that we have in common with Kurdish language. That song is also hear shaking😍
Wow, amazing 🔥
My man i loved your reaction video i hope see more iranian song reaction from you 🙏💯
you made it even more great man!
this man is my teenage memory omg namjoo start his creere in my town with mud band
Zolf is a poem by the 14th-century Iranian poet *Hafiz.* The ending of the poem says *"Since enslave by your love, I've become free"*

Else to the wind, caution I’ll throw.
Don’t let foundations elegantly grow,
Else my foundation will dissolve and go.

Don’t keep me distant with your frown,

Hafiz will embrace your oppression,
Was freed since enslaved in this fashion.

So damn good
I loved it 💕
Love you dude
Thank you very good
lucky me, for being persian and capable of understanding the poets,
greating from Afghanistan
Farsi= Parsi= Persian
Thank you for choosing this music I didn't know this ... It is really interesting and unique 👍❤️🥀
There are so many connotations in the lyrics, that rhyme perfectly with his style of music, and I should add the cultural value of this particular poet, Hafez, for all Iranians. Namjoo is amazing in choosing the words. He is so intelligent and his music is very visual which adds to the poetry most of the times. I like the original version of this song, Zolf, and am not very fond of the concert version. I also suggest another song by him, called Toranj, also the original version.
Best reaction ever
he is in another level
Beautiful 👍👏👏
What a voice.- ups and downs
Thank you 😃😀❤️💙
Really nice music man
How skillful an artist is , it is people who makes it. Namjoo has forgotten this fact.
The story of this song is the story of a couple named Shirin and Farhad. This story is very famous in Iran. Farhad, who had fallen in love with Shirin, did not accept Shirin Until Shirin made a bet, Farhad said he should go to the mountains Move and bring me Shirin made a condition for Farhad to love her, but Farhad was still climbing the mountain while he was old and Shirin was not news of him, but Farhad's love is still burning.
one of the BEST
Vocal meaning is incredible beautiful
Like Gods love ...
Really beautiful 😍 👌👍✌️👏
What the heck was that raucous gabble that Mohsen Namjoo uttered at the end of his song??! He made a magnificent performance, but destroyed it at the end!
You would have known what he was singing
I❤️Iran , from Germany
Thanks Mace for introducing Mohsen Jamjou, I personally am not a fan of his music (Except this one), however you have a very good sense for music and this particular one I watched to the end. It is one of his good performance. If you introduce a couple more like this one, that would be nice to listen to. Thank you
I am absolutely with you, music is the one and only universal language you don't need to understand to enjoy ...i am persian and i enjoy many form of soulful music ❤️❤️❤️from Spanish to Arabic to Pakistan qwalis to Vasilis saleassss ❤️😍
Mixing persian poetry with western music is what Namju is always trying to do in easy language. music can break the borders. well done)
