Just ordered your book I think it arrives today! I’m so excited! It’s rare to see so many consistently great reviews! Can’t wait to sit with it and read it cover to cover.

So glad you made this video! I think the grand exit photo is so cute and think exiting the ceremony can have the similar pictures so photographers don’t have to stay til the end.
I have a video request - could you share pros and cons of working with wedding photographers themselves or big companies? Some angles like pricing, communication process, back-ups, resources, etc. I understand every photographer/company work differently, but just curious if there are any obvious nuances from your perspective that may help couples decide which one to work with. Thank you!!!

Hi! I am getting married at Tom Ham's lighthouse. Sparklers are prohibited, which I'm a little sad about. What else do you recommend?

Biodegradable paper confetti? Light sticks (glowsticks to wave around - not throw)

For the grand entrance we would like to use a high energy song but have it lead straight into cake cutting. Do you have any suggestions for making it a smooth transition between high energy entrance and then no music for cake cutting?

A good DJ or band should be able to handle that. I've never seen an entrance go straight to cake, will your guests have already eaten? Typically you'd want to cut cake when it's going to be served to guests.

@@cavinelizabeth the idea is that the venue will be cutting and plating the cake slices while we eat dinner. Then after dinner guests can grab a plate while the venue staff cleans up the buffet and plates.

I have a video about walking down the aisle coming out in the next few weeks.

@@cavinelizabeth thank you so much. I am going to walk my daughter down the aisle in a few months from now. I’m excited for my daughter and her new chapter. As a father, she knows I’m always going to love her and be there for her. I’m not going to stop loving her just because she got married. I always look forward to the hugs, phone calls, shopping, kiss on the cheek whenever I see her. It’s unconditional love and a bond that can never be destroyed
Walking down the aisle represents a woman’s happiest moment. She is going to start a new chapter of her life with her husband. It’s important you do the walking down the aisle part as best as you can as a Dad and I’m excited to see your video in the upcoming weeks in order to prepare myself from the different emotions I may have.
