    How do you access the engine and what's in the frunk?

    • @jonathandonne1432
      @jonathandonne1432 Před 8 lety

      You access the engine by lifting up the insulation carpet of the boot, you will see a lid, unscrew the six screws that secure it then lift up lid, voila you have the engine. As for the bonnet, remove the two plastic covers on the grill by the headlights, you should see two levers, the right side has a lock you undo with the key then pull the two levers at the same time and the bonnet opens forwards, you have access to the coolants, washer fluids and battery. To close bonnet, push back bonnet into place, push back in the two levers simultaneously then lock, replace two plastic covers and job done.

    I think exterior styling is allright, but I do must say it feels like a Fiat 500 imitation to me.

    Carbuyer when you test the headroom in the back, do you ever consider that tall people are quite different? Some people have long legs, while other have a long torso (i'm the latter). So even though I'm 180 cm or 5.9 foot I rarely fit in any car on the back seat. A 6.5 foot Volvo dealer once promised me that I could get his V80 for free if I could prove that I couldn't fit. He quickly re-phrased this opportunity when I banged my head against the roof :P

    • @MrJHDK

  • @briangriffiths114

    After previously criticising all the various idiosyncrasies of the Twingo, I took a test drive in a 70 HP base model and could not believe how good it was to drive with great all round visibility. There is no indication that it has a rear engine and the bonnet opening mechanism seems to have been slightly modified so that it now just slides forward and back rather than totally detaches. The styling is more attractive in real life than it is in pictures.
    The current £99 three year Easylife servicing deal in the UK offsets the normally expensive maintenance costs and I have been impressed enough to order a new GT 110 which I collect next week to replace my Clio 0.9 TCe with GT line bodykit.
