sugar scrub
1/4 cup brown sugar go.magik.ly/ml/ufos/
1oz glycerin go.magik.ly/ml/ufop/
1 tbsp coconut oil go.magik.ly/ml/ufox/
1/2 tsp carnauba or candelilla wax (optional) amzn.to/38SM96J
melt coconut oil and wax together using a double boiler method until melted. add glycerin and oil to sugar and mix. use in the shower 1- 2 times a week.
*these are made in small batches for freshness. if stored, use a clean spatula or spoon to scoop out of your container as added water will cause your mixture to spoil and grow bacteria.

1/2 cup epsom salt amzn.to/2VfRYaE
1 oz almond oil amzn.to/2Vhp0qW
1 tbsp rosehip oil amzn.to/2usdbDg
1 tbsp castile soap go.magik.ly/ml/ufp6/
dried rose petals (optional) amzn.to/2T6X7Pr
add oils to salt and mix. add castile soap last and mix again.

I really think that it would be cool to see a video of scrubs you'd be willing to buy vs scrubs that you wouldn't because you can easily diy a dupe. Maybe that could extend into a series of buy vs diy for different products, ex. soaps or masks.

feel free to ditch the oil and just use glycerin
Maybe try mixing sugar/salt in a little bit of your shower gel/aloe gel/light body lotion if you don’t like the emollient residue of oils on your skin? It will dissolve quicker, but should be less messy 😊

The only scrubs I’ve ever used in the shower are the st Ives apricot (too abrasive for my face), Dr Teal’s pink Himalayan salt scrub, and crepe erase body polish. They all did an okay job but none of them were game changers. After watching this I’m motivated to make my own and I can’t wait 😊 hopefully they turn out so good that I can just continue DIYing them
try my coffee scrub too, if youve tried salt, sugar, and apricot shells you may enjoy that change in texture.

I use a salt and coffee scrub. My husband makes fresh coffee everyday so rather than waste it I save the weeks and make scrubs. Smells so good!

I justmade a scrub with anything I’ve in hands: salt, sugar, body wash and lotion. Mix them and just use Iike store-bought scrub 😅 Work like a charm tho my skin feel extremely soft and smooth.

Could you do a comprehensive video that goes into detail about everything a typical self care routine/day should consist of for women? As well as why you choose to do each specific thing and how to best do it (i.e. what parts shouldn't you use a body scrub? do you do it after showering or before? what's your routine? do we really need eye cream or is there a natural alternative we can make?) I think it would be really beneficial for those women who never really received this type of self care advice from their mothers...

Good night, I'll try making them. What can be used instead of candelilla wax? Why I love the store bought products are because of their strong scent and colours? What strong scents can be used and what colour can be added. Thanks for your advice
its optional so you can just skip the wax. you can purchase fragrance oils from many places online or in craft stores, as well as mica to change the color.

in a cool dry place, if you dont dip wet hands into the jar it can last a few months.
