    Great bike. I have a friend who has a Pro and I bought the Hard Enduro. TSP tuned mine with a medium compression head. Completely changed the bike for the better. I put Twin Air MX Radiator Sleeves over the BPD rad guards. Helps keep the mud out of the rad. Cheap add on that I believe makes a difference.

    I like the plastic guards for the front wheel better than the aluminum ones because they don't snag and get stuck on rocks. They also glide off and absorb the impacts instead of transferring a really hard hit to your forks and hands. I've had them on 3 bikes for ~300 hours now, with lots of boulder riding (including a bunch of hard enduros) and have yet to bend a front rotor.
    I do recommend adding some plastic covers for the bottom of those forks though.
    Congrats on the new bike, Husky nailed it with the styling IMO!

      I love the new transmission. What gearing are you running? Of all the 2024's I've tried, only one had stock gearing and he changed it after the first ride as well. So far I think the 12/45 will work well for me.

    • @WASemiHardEnduro
      @WASemiHardEnduro Před 2 měsíci +1

      I’m running stock gearing still, and I love it. I also really liked stock gearing on the TPI XC/TX. The new ‘24 1st/2nd/3rd are all lower than what I’m used to, and I’m finding I can use 2nd and 3rd more often. I definitely wouldn’t want a lower 1st gear - it would be unusable.
      I think people just can’t mentally understand that the internal rations are shorter. So they see the 45t and just think it’s too tall, so they all switch.

      @PNWEnduro  Před 2 měsíci +2

      The small front and rear sprocket is great for clearance, I remember in my BMX days when bikes went to really small front/rear sprockets to keep them from getting hit. My 2023 300SEF forks were awful with the stock valving, almost un-rideable. After $400 to revalve they are better but after riding the 350XCF and hoping back on the 300SEF I realized how much I'm still fighting the bike with all the deflection on the KYB setup.

      @@PNWEnduro It's not the fork, just the tuning.
      As I mentioned, both of them are very tunable forks.
      Many so-called tuners have no idea what they are doing. We have a local guy here who used to work directly for KYB and then later for Technical Touch in Europe. He removed two shims from a good friend's 500 SEF and transformed the bike 👍

      The start is harder to push, the stop sometimes takes 2-3 seconds to actually kill the motor and being so close together it's easy to hit the start when you want stop. I also saw a rider with a brand new 300xc-w on the trail with a faulty starter button.

    I have normal version since november 2023 and I like this bike but It have a big problem with fuel, it dont spent 1,2 L if you dont ride for irregular ways. If you go downhill or you go to your house the Husqvarna stop whit fuel in the tank.hardly uses the reserve. It is increíble and KTM group dont change it. You said braketech is better. Braketech is spanish, Ism spanish and here we prefert Brembo. Brembo is much better. Dont used 12x45, It Is better change to 13x48, if you change to 12, you you will wear out the upper, lower and lower rear skids of the motorcycle chain. For now 13x45 for me is enought. Husqvarna pro for me have a horrible color, Grey is a bad day, grey is the the asphalt. The original brand grip covers with side protection are made of plastic and break on the screws, two falls, two broken pairs at €40 per pair, they are poorly designed. The suspensión the fork is nice, but need turn on left because it is hard for enduro,. Rear suspensión is dificult understand it is better for crono, it is hard for hard enduro. Husqvarna is better than ktm because ktm have pds. About the ECU, I don't know how to say anything, it's not done here and it doesn't sound like anything to me.Enjoy your bike but be carefull whit fuel in the tank, it is a stupid fail in ktm group.

    I was about to buy these bikes until I rode it.. it is so slow !!
    It’s a turtle.. the best advice I could give you apart from a remap and head modifications would be to simply buy the lightest tyre you can buy.
    A shinko green stripe weighs 7.6 kgs for a rear.. if you buy a Mitas
    MT MX 120 90 18 MH SE. … they weigh only 5.6kgs. 2kgs is massive to the feel and really help the bike.
    You can also get them in a super light which weigh 5.2 kgs from Mitas.
    the fly wheel weights are 920 grams on these enduro bikes .. the XC model are 570 grams..
    I know they are purpose built, but the masses don’t do anything near a real hard enduro..
    I’d be stunned if KTM didn’t free them up a little more on the 2025’s

      From what I’m told, if they were imported with spark arrestors the bikes would be classed differently at customs so they would be subject to more taxes and fees which would raise the retail price more than the cost of buying the spark arrestor separately.
