I was looking at the pictures kind of in awe then I started thinking about all that power, money and splendor they wanted to show even in death.....and they're no better off than a guy that died and rotted in a ditch somewhere. It really just gives us something to look at.
Just goes to show, none of us is truly above the other, & in the end, we all just end up at the same place.
But their relatives have somewhere to visit. My family is is still in the garage before I make a gravesite for their ashes.
I guess its their money and can do what they want. King Tut had a nice little crypt🙂
Mark 8:36-37 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
I told my boys and husband to just put my ashes under the willow tree out back….i don’t want a headstone or to be in a cemetery, because I won’t be there anyway. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust…..
Beautiful, and Thanks for showing us the Pictures.
Beautiful mausoleum, inside and outside. The inside pictures are stunning 😮 Is the family still prominent today; And does the family still use the mausoleum?
Great video, thank you very much Tony. 😊
Not sure on other generations of the family.
@@CryptDoor Ok, thank you very much for getting back to me. Have a great day 😀

@@CryptDoor $7 million in today's money
For someone interested in the family history , there is a book called 'Empty Mansions' about Huguette Clark. I highly recommend.
I really enjoy seeing who these large mausoleums belong to. Always fills my brain with questions.
Wow just AMAZING ❤
so beautiful wow😮
Thank you for showing us the pretty Clark mausoleum. It’s so sad that both of his wife is die young. He’s so lucky to be in a mausoleum in the middle of the island so fancy the inside it’s pretty to thank you for taking us.
Thanks for bringing this to us , Tony
My pleasure!!
Breathtaking!!
Very pretty, it’s amazing some of these mausoleum are as big as houses
Very very cool. I always wondered.
Massive & beautiful!
Hi Tony thanks for sharing this with all of us very grand mausoleum beautiful location I enjoyed watching your videos
Glad you enjoyed it
@@CryptDoor absolutely did
Quite a palace of a mausoleum.
It used to be opened to the public, twice a year, I believe & for a small fee, you could go in. I was there in 2010 & the literature still said they opened to the public on two days a year, yet when I inquired into the next time they where gonna open it & they said they stopped doing that in either 2008 or 9? But that's where those pictures you got came from & I remember seeing other images showing just the tile worked ceiling & the stained glass windows.
What a beautiful resting place thank you Tony
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you🪦
Great walk. In my humble opinion CZcams is Broken, what is going on with notifications that don't work , and sometimes deleting my supscritions, replacing them by another channel i don't like... and apparently other users complain too !
Greetings, Tom.
Oh yes, I’m aware that there’s issues out there.
He had a half sister named Huguette Clark who just died in 2011. She was a wealthy recluse. Interesting story on her. Clark County, NV is named after her father.
Really, I have read about her?
Thank you, tony it is beautiful.
Very cool❤️ The inside looks bigger than the outside.
I think so too!
A part if the movie, "Hot Shots" (w/ Charlie Sheen), was filmed on the Clark Bridge, and w/ stunt people jumping into the lake.
Thank you loving the videos 😊
Glad you like them!
@@CryptDoor I certainly do looking forward to more uploads of videos
Great video as always, often wonder if Marion Davies mausoleum is ever open, appears to be always locked.
When family are there visiting the Dourvas mausoleum theyll let you inside.
Good question!
Wow! Such a beautiful place. And the insde was gorgeous.
Thank you for showing this.
I subscribed to your channel.
This is my 1st time watching your channel all the way from Louisiana.
Welcome to the channel and thank you very much!
@@CryptDoor Your welcome.
Wasn’t Clark County Nevada, which is where Las Vegas is, founded by William Andrews Clark Sr.? He served as a Nevada Senator from 1901-1907 and, as you said, was in copper mining.
I was there in 2004 or so, and that mausoleum was in surprisingly poor condition then.
Astonishing for a stone building in such a mild climate as Southern California enjoys.
From what I understand, former owners embezzled money from the place, and left it in ruin, and the new owners fixed it up.
@@CryptDoor The cemetery had recently been sold when I visited, and many of the mausoleums were in poor condition, with tarps covering some of the roofs, etc. There have been significant improvements since then, and thanks for sharing them!
I guess the ducks stole the show 😊.
Tony I emailed you.
The last one I received was on the 21st.
I wonder if there are any realtives still living?
Did the III have any children?
I was surprised to see that there were No Gold offering Bowls 🧽🧽🧽
