Not gonna lie, when I was little, I just wanted to get to the singing parts of Maggid. Can you blame me?
I knew I was supposed to be paying attention to the story of how God saved us, but all I could think about were the matzah balls and kugel getting cold. 😭
Thank the Lord for singing! Every time we reached a part of Maggid that could be sung, Abba and Zayde would look at my sisters, cousins and I, as if to cue up the orchestra. If you don't sing these parts of the seder, you are missing out!
