Some songs just transport you, don’t they? 🛤
I’ve been listening to James Taylor since I was in the womb and this song has always been one of my favorites.
It just so happens that Tennessee and the Carolinas are two of my favorite places in the whole U.S.
I have wonderful childhood memories of scaling mountains laden with waterfalls and listening to the cicada chorus that has a certain sort of echo only when heard from the top of a peak at night. 🌄
My husband and I took my son to South Carolina for the first time two years ago and we stayed with friends in Chapel Hill, near Copperline.
There are few things on the earth that good mountain air won’t cure.
