The comment section and the number of people who think he didn't address Ann is kinda sad. He did say that what he had experienced was indeed racist albeit not explicitly. He gave that context because he wants to distinguish systematic racism which he does not believe exists vs the biased racism that Ann had. He claims it does not affect him in the long term and its similar to getting your toe hurt, but there is not anything systematically racist that he has experienced that would've oppressed his career or growth simply because of him being indian.

I am Indian born in the US, I apologize to Black community but we come to the US for education and opportunity, I am muscular and I first hand experience racism from white people but I have bachelors degree and good paying job, black people have to understand you are not the only people that endure racism
Have they ever burned down your towns? Have they ever threaten you out of businesses? Have they ever unalived you and then forged your signature to steal from you? Have they ever made sure your image is as twisted in the media? Have they ever blatantly poisoned your community?

Why did the Cubans leave a communist government to come to the US? Or even Venezuelans ? I would like to ask if there loyalty lies in USA or the origin country the same way you are asking these questions. India is 8# in GDP past the UK and France. Indians come to the UK and USA and produce, whether it be the CEO of Fortune 500 companies or IT professionals in Silicon Valley. What ethnicity are you?

I respect the fact that Vivek's family came from India and settled in Cincinnati to give him a better life and to enable him to become a self-made billionaire.
